I think its great to see UFC 120 come and go with 121 only a week later. More good news follows with UFC 122 on Nov 13th before 123 happens a week later. It's a shame a schedule can't be written up for events every 2 weeks. I think the most frustrating part about watching the UFC is that sometimes the dates are just too far apart. It's probably down to the fact that they need time apart because obviously the oversea events are rarely a PPV, but even if I was paying I'd gladly cough up for an event every 2 weeks.
I'd be fine with 2 events a month, sometimes that just doesn't happen though. Gotta wait a month between.
I think its great viewing for a hardcore fan but maybe tough for the casual fan to pick up. On the flip side they might find it easier to watch as they know the next week a fight is on.
It is overkill. It is becoming WWE like and not an event any longer.Boring and I am beginning to cherry pick which ones I watch now.
2 a month is the most i'd want to see. Don't want to over do it, One big event and a UFC on versus would be enough for me. Don't want it on every weekend like the boxing because then I'd be missing too many events :yep
THEY SHOW IT MORE THAN ONCE A MONTH! PROOF THAT UFC=WWE! atsch I don't know how the **** someone could complain about TOO much MMA. If it was a PPV every two weeks then yeah that would suck, but these free cards in between the PPV's are nothing to throw **** at.
The constant bitching is such that it leads to bitching about things that are mutually exclusive; they ***** when a fighter is released, but then when they have more shows so that more fighters can fight, they *****. I think picking and choosing if there are several events in a row is fine, there is no rule that says you can't be a fan if you don't watch the occasional show. Or if you just want to catch the fights in a hurry rather than sit through the whole show, you can see them online (legally or otherwise) afterwords.
