Whilst Nick is stuck in a coma in hospital, the Eubanks are calling a press conference so that Sr can sit there and lie through his teeth acting as if he saved Blackwell's life by telling Jr to go to the body.

That'd annoy me too if I were Blackwell.

They owe him an apology for lying to the public.

The Eubanks don't need to apologise to anyone to be honest, they did what they felt they had to for what will help the Eubanks.

The Eubank's were being hounded night and day for comment. Obviously after Watson all those years ago the media saw the similarity and wanted interviews.

The Eubank's were silent and waited until Blackwell was stable and the news was positive.

It has to be remembered Eubank's didn't celebrate the victory in the ring that night after Blackwells collapse or afterwards, in fact I don't think they have ever celebrated the victory.

I understand if people don't like the Eubank's, they are an acquired taste but you can't blame them for giving comment on what turned in to a national story they were first hand involved in.

If anyone is to Blame, it's Blackwell's family for letting him get into boxing rather than work a regular job

Boxing is a tough sport, these things happen

    The eubanks did NOTHING wrong

They didn't comment, they sat there and lied and acted as if they saved his life.

Did you actually watch the fight? Senior WAS telling Junior to work the body more. And just because the Eubanks brought it up whilst being harassed by the media for comment doesn't mean they were trying to take credit for saving his life, more likely trying to point out that nobody is to blame for this, it's boxing FFS.
It's actually quite irritating that Blackwell has so publicly U-turned after the initial "no hard feelings" message if I'm honest.

I wish they'd replay the bit of the fight where Sr says "target the trunk and the tree will fall".

So because he says that it means that his other point that he thought Nick was getting hurt becomes void? If you had been through what Chris sr had during his career then i think you would be totally shocked when idiots on a boxing forum question your integrity.

Look at Chris sr before the second Michael Watson fight and afterwards, he became an out and put boxer that never stepped through the gears to KO opponents like he did early on and it was even more obvious during the Steve Collins fight when he dropped him and Steve was gone but he posed and looked at him afterwards instead of finishing the job.

Both of the Eubanks can be blamed for being arrogant and attention seeking but anyone who tries to say that Chris sr doesn't have compassion when it comes to other fighters is absolute rubbish.

eubie would have been wiser just to keep his mouth shut, when someone was possible life and death inhospital that he'd fought. todays media are gonna warp anything he says. Chris mind is still stuck in the 90s.

just wishing him well would have been enough.

Fact is he lied about telling Jr to go to the body to save Blackwell.

He owes him an apology for that outright lie.

Ok the great Solaris knows what was going through Chris Sr's mind, you are obviously just a hater of the Eubanks so i won't even play this game with you.

    Adios

We can skirt around the issue as much as we want. We can pretend that there is equality in all facets of life in the year 2016, but the fact is there is still a percentage of british people still do not like seeing successful people of color.
