I appreciate being stalked. It means my opinion is read, reviewed and analyzed. It's better than being ignored. Thanks for the respect.

Curating multiple posts from a couple threads is tantamount to stalking? I quoted eight predictions, yours was but one.

I wouldn’t favor Joshua over Fury at the moment, since Joshua is still very green, but that doesn’t mean that with the right strategy he couldn’t trouble Fury or even pull the upset.

I see Joshua as a tougher opponent than Wilder because he is better and not as one-dimensional as Wilder, Joshua can deliver a devastating combination of punches and knock out the opponent. On the other hand, Fury has a better jab and foot work, he will probably try to keep Joshua at a distance, this fight will be 50-50 ...

I'm stating what people I knew were saying. Not sure how you could contradict that.

I don't think it'll be as easy as a lot of others think it will be. Fury's rightly the favourite right now after his last performance but to trot a worn out cliche, this is heavyweight boxing and anything can happen. Not many people thought Fury or Ruiz would beat Wilder and Joshua let alone destroy them in the manner they did. **** happens.

Compiling posts is a pretty commonplace action on forums, Peter. I think you only feel that way because it contradicted you and revealed that you, in fact, thought Wilder would win.

I wanted him to win and I backed him because of the ridiculous tribal atmosphere around here and I was sick of him getting no credit. My money would have always been on fury

Most gameplans are relatively simple. The trick is being able to pull them off on the night. A lot can go wrong. You can overtrain, undertrain, let nerves get the better of you, feel you need to prove a point and lose sight of the end goal. Add in the fact that Joshua had just gone from being on top of the world to a humiliated joke whose future career earning were hanging on a knife edge, and there were a ton of potential pitfalls. He essentially had to reinvent his style and do so under massive pressure. That takes both guts and a very cool head, as well as the ability to put past embarrassments behind you.

What was your prediction of the fight BTW? I know a ton of people had Ruiz winning, and even went so far as to give Joshua no chance of winning the rematch.

I agree that we need more time to know for certain if any truly lasting change has come over Joshua. I have a feeling it has, but it's possible Joshua falls back into bad habits again. Hopefully he's realised that he's a better fighter when he ditches the excess muscle and works on refining his skills over hitting the weights.
