I condemn Wilder and Fury for cherry picking their opponents

I wasn't wrong. Anyone with eyeballs can see Ruiz is pure boxer. Most guys with big names avoid him. He couldn't get a fight it was so bad and was almost out of the sport. It goes to show how stupid Hearn/Team AJ is at judging fighting ability imo.

 

Ah, that's right, not only he was a cherrypick but they gave him 5 weeks to prepare the fight. I forgot about that, thank you for the reminder.

No, he had just got out a fight prior to that,you are making up stories now.

In fact Ruiz said being active helped him more ,rested for 2 weeks and started another training camp for coming off an easy touch fight with Dimitrenko .While Joshua had to cancel an entire event way back in April ,went through Miller,Whyte,Ortiz and Kownacki even .

Yet you claim a 4th guy choice is a cherry pick ,if that's the case he would have never tried getting Ortiz or Whyte first,he didn't even have to fight after all the declines but he went to a cherry pick knowing that style could be a more difficult one ,right ? Try again. lol

Rofl, had you read that thread? basically noone says taht ruiz is going to win. All saying "oh man, he's fat but fast". Literally the last comment says "Ruiz is a complete no-hoper".

When the specialized press says it was an upset, it's because they are not as smart as you. Dude. Congratz. You rock as I said. The bet houses giving 1/20 to joshua, they were clueless all of them too, I dont know what are they waiting for? they should hire you right yesterday!

 

Joshua has done a lot for boxing fans taking tough fights back to back, and giving fans what they want. He is self confident and ambitious. He does deserve a lot of respect for what he has done, and although Fury talks a lot about being a fighting man, it is clearly Joshua who is the one walking the walk.

Wilder and Fury to anyone being objective are both clearly taking the easiest fights they think they can get away with. It’s not until the pressure from fans gets to great that they actually have a fight that fans want just to keep their fans interested.

I am saying this as a Dillian Whyte fan, i’m certainly not a fanboy of any of the big three at heavyweight. Just saying what I see.

 

So right now you are giving Ruiz credit for beating AJ as you should

I wouldn't say Fury picks the easiest fights. He fought Chisora two times, Klitschko once and Wilder after a long inactivity. He was also close to fighting David Haye. Also, in a recent video he claimed that there was no serious opponent to face. Ortiz-Wilder in the making, Joshua-Ruiz in the making, Chisora-Parker in the making, Whyte-Miller both unable, Povetkin fought Hughie instead. There's not much choice left.

Rivas, Joyce, Pulev? I would've favored Fury-Pulev, but I believe Pulev is waiting for his title shot and he's gonna retire sooner or later. There's also some German fighters I could imagine to face Fury, like Kabayel, Charr or Hammer but non of these would be a top fight, so why not give a chance to Schwarz and Wallin, at least he's staying active.

 

I think fury gets a pass for taking on wilder after balloning up to 28 stone with a two year lay off etc. It was pretty audacious tbf. Hes earned the right to try rebuild himself back to his peak against whoever he wants with that alone for me.

Wilder less so...he was trying to cherry pick fury like hes done most of his career. He gets a break for taking on ortiz tho...who still is or was a very good fighter.
