Great conditioning will vastly improve a fighter's chin.

If Maidana would have stayed down....i wouldnt have blamed him or thought any less....and for the record, ive never seen anyone get up from a body shot like that who looked like they were in pain beyond pain....aint no quit in him...hes tough as nails...as is khan

Maybe it's the angle of the camera shot but Maidana's feet look like they weren't positioned to help give the hardest punch.

Props to Amir for proving all his critics wrong. He has a strong chin and the heart of a lion.

roy hitting virgil hill reminded me of the pain and slithering in pain as that shot Marcos got hit with....never seen one similar to that....gatti getting hit by ward was close....but when you get dropped like that....that was brutal and you dont see ones like that but every few years

I don't think he took it on purpose. I was a great punch by maidana and i thought the fight would be stopped since khan could only hold on for almost the entire round.

Cotto hasn't been at his peak since he moved up from 140 but he was in great shape for the Pacman fight and still very dangerous overall.

I absolutely agree that he has to be a tough SOB to get up from that one. It would have been a bit more difficult had it happened towards the beginning of the round though.

Yeah, but unlike the aforementioned chicken dancer, he didn't get KTFO, he fought through at spots and won the fight.

I don't think that was the punch which hurt him in round 10. That punch was from longer range I remember. I could be wrong.
