I know he won vs Abraham. I cant understand AB why he didnt continue what he did in the first two rounds, jabing, throwing body punches, being activ and pushing the tempo. Aside from the win, Ward with his "as soon as you try too hit I'll duck" technic is just the opposite of a good entertainer. sure he is quick, he can box, he got skills, but its terrible too watch him fight. The referee was also terrible, every time Andre duck with the head and hold and clinched he didnt let Arthur his chance for punshing it out, because always he would seperate them, what would Andre the advantage, because he was superior from the outside. God damn, just hope Calzaghe would comeback and clean out the division of all these clinching holding rabbits.
please, calzaghe wouldn't step near the super six much less a fighter so close to his prime like ward.
In other words you are not a boxing fan. They have that ultimate bar figthing stuff if you just like blood. Boxing is the manly art of self defense, and ward is going to be great.
I would settle in, because he's probably going to be around for awhile. Calzaghe doesn't care about Ward. He didn't care about Dawson, who was far more hyped that Ward has been, so why should he care about Ward? He's not coming back for that fight, I don't think.
You just mad because Ward is international and a true world champ. He has beat Brits, Armenians, Africans, Australians, Americans, Colombians, Puerto Ricans, Haitians, Dominicans, Mexicans, Danes, and Germans.
I feel like he's the kind of fighter I'd want to watch against a more game opponent. I'd want to see him against Froch, Dirrel, Bute, etc. He wasn't boring against Bika. But against someone like Abraham who he is expected to shut out and neutralize his power with a grade A boxing IQ, what can you expect. I like watching smart fighters, but they can't showcase all they got against an opponent unless their opponent is fueling their craft and creativity with a challenge.

If you don't appreciate what Andre Ward does, you don't appreciate QUALITY Boxing.....or you don't know The Sport yet...or you're Anti-American... OR...it could be ALL of the above mixed with some other negative traits... To put it bluntly... If you unjustly criticize Andre Ward in a Boxing forum, you're basically exposing yourself as a garbage fan....

It's because you come across as a hater. Yeah, he isn't Pacquiao or Katsidis when it comes to entertainment value but we already know this. But the guy is a damm good fighter and i don't see anyone beating him in the near future.
