I'm going on holiday to have a ball (and chain) attatched to my leg on monday, about 2 weeks after that I plan to do one on Rigo-Donaire. Possibly a Khan matchup too, depending on who he fights

No, he'll just be subject to the same drug testing as all the other boxers - which is virtually none.

You're talking about the same authorities which basically allowed him to get away Scott free with using PEDS and keep his belt.

Primary hypogonadism mostly has to do with LH receptors being deficient and Leydig cell desensitization while Secondary hypogonadism deals mostly with GnRH deficiencies....which is way way way oversimplifying things but is the general gist. The Hypothalmus, Thyroid, Pituitary and Gonads are all inter related and basically an axis.....any one of those is affected by a disorder, syndrome, trauma, poor development, deficiency, poor sensitivity, abuse etc, and you can end up with primary or secondary.

A lot of cases (an estimated 4 million american males) come from issues resulting from obesity, Type 2 diabetes, alcoholism, insulin resistance etc. Metabolic syndromes and deficiencies also cause a decent amount, as does simple aging since your test levels decline as you age.

It`s possible Peterson has a legit case of primary or secondary, since it is a multi factor problem and he may have some medical issues with his hypothalmus, pituitary, thyroid or gonads that we don`t know about. But, even if he is legit......TRT is designed (by a knowledgeable endo) to bring your levels into the high normal range of the scale (generally 300-1000 ngdl) through low dose testosterone administration, anti estrogen admin to control elevated E, and HCG therapy to maintain testicular size.

That doesn`t bode well for having a sky high TE ratio on a test. A lot of guys with scripts are using it as an excuse to further enhance and supplement the trt dose, with additional anabolics and androgens. For some, the script is kinda like a security blanket enabling more use.

Yep - from a lot of reading I've done and interviews I've seen it seems TRT or other fast acting testosterone products are an increasingly popular way for combat athletes to cheat. Gives them constantly boosted t levels throughout training. Apparently fighters are even using candy flavoured testosterone lozenges.

If you're just under standard boxing drug testing then you don't even need to get a TUE as they don't even test for exogenous testosterone. You just need to make sure you're under the acceptable test to epitest ratio, which in places like Vegas is up to 6x that or a normal person.

Your textbook fails to mention concussions, and doesnt address the fact that all men's levels naturally drop after theyre 30. :think

PEDerson is a cheat! Any athlete can go to an anti-aging clinic and get a "low testosterone" diagnosis.

The most popular oral test is andriol (test undecanoate). It works for TRT, but for performance enhancement, probably not so much since it has relatively poor bioavailability, and large doses would need to be taken (much more than trt doses) to get the desired PED effects. Most docs just give a shot of test enanthate, test decanoate, or sustanon once weekly (anywhere from 100-200mg per week is norm). This dose, is not performance enhancing for a normal male, since it is no different than normal natural test production, and wouldn`t likely ever cause a failure of TE ratio. Like we agree upon, a script is a shield for further enhancing and supplementing in most cases.
