Probably quite a lot, if they believed Audley on what he said he was going to do, they'll cleary believe anything.

Understood, but Haye has now been involved with the Audley fiasco, now his no-show against Wladimir has left the public feeling bent over twice in a row

It is professional boxing, if you are not in it for 95% the money, you should not be allowed to participate in such a dangerous sport, as you already are showing signs of brain damage.

For better or for worse, you need to stand out from the crowd to make money in this sport. David Haye being a nice fella, is simply not going to work.

The Klitschko's are a slightly different breed in that they seem to be content with very good Germany money, and are not prepared to take the next step and crack the American and/or British markets, for which they are losing out on further Millions of £s and $s.

But sooner rather than later, the German model will fail (German TV structure is about 10/15 years behind Britain, so history says a German PPV is imminent), and they will have to start selling themselves properly as they grope around for the PPV money like everyone else.

Then once again, with everyone playing the same game, boxing might be fun again!

There is no chance Haye could pick up more than 30% share of the pot this time after that 'performance' and with no belt.

You make some interesting points but it seems irrelevant to this thread. I'm criticising Haye's post fight behaviour, not his pre fight antics to hype the fight. To quote the man himself, "he's clearly a dickhead" and he's proved that over the last few days.

People who think those comments are to hype are rematch are deluded.

Exactly, and with him not wanting to retire on a loss, and with all probability he'd lose again, can you see him taking it? I can't...

He's not intrested in a rematch, he's trying to save face

I think Haye would be pretty delusional to think he could talk his way into a rematch using the same ****.

I do not know about deluded. If Haye continues (Personally I hope he does not, and actually sticks to his promise about giving up before his next birthday, and thus shows he actually is quite smart), then the only money fights available to him are either of the Klitschko's. And staying 'in character', is probably the only way he can sell himself at the moment.
