It truly was a sad sight seeing this once great fighter saying to his corner "I'm trying to get him but I just cant catch him" bleeding profusely in his corner.

No doubt in my mind that a prime RJJ would have KO'd calzaghe within 3 rounds.

I am half welsh mothers side was welsh and I am english But I am honest enough to admit whilst Calzaghe is a great fighter he's a rung below the Hopkins and Jones of this world.

Seeing him taunt and showboat Roy :patsch fair enough for a while, but he got carried away with it.

It was like watching a little boy burn ants with a magnifying glass or torturing an animal.

Not happy with calzaghe at all on that front.:bart

Bull****, how many cab drivers and school teachers lasted the full 12 with Roy ?

Calzaghe for me would be the best fighter he would have faced arguable with Hopkins.

I'd go for a Roy Jones decision or stoppage but not within 3 rounds use your noggin.

I felt sorry for Jones too, it was sad to see a once great fighter being embarassed like that. However, Calzaghe's showboating was similar to what Jones did to Tito and I'm sure he would have done this to Joe had last nite had things gone his way, so lets not break our hearts about this.

Was it classless for Calzaghe to showboat? YES. His win would have been better without it.

Did Roy deserve it? YES. He was showboating his whole career against inferior fighters. I didn't feel sorry for him.

What round was it he said that?

I feel really depressed at the moment, My idol had one last chance of glory but it wasnt meant to be.
As Calazghe said something along the lines of- Jones' had his time and now its my time.

I dont think Roy would have KO'd him in the first three rounds to beat him. I think he may have knocked him down in the first 3 but Calzaghe would have come back strong.
If prime Jones fought prime Calzaghe, Jones would have won but it would have been a real tough fight with Joe taking at least 4 rounds give or take.
Most probably a Jones win by UD or possibly a different result with a Jones TKO over Joe in the last 3 rounds.

**** off would Roy have KO'd Calzaghe in 3 rounds prime-for-prime.

And what about Jones Jr's showboating throughout his career?

What goes around comes around, he got humiliated yesterday, just the way he has humiliated so many of his opponents throughout his career.
