People love Hopkin! Right. And he has pulled way worse bull**** than that. So don't be bias. All boxers do shot like that when they have to.

SRL had the incorrect game plan going in against Duran. Was it because of his huge ego? Maybe so.

Broner was just blatantly exposed. Dude cannot adapt. He was hit over and over again by the same shot that floored him twice on that evening. He looks confused as to how to react every time Maidana assaults him.
It was a far cry from what SRL have shown us against Duran in that if he wanted too, HE CAN keep up with heavy hitters like Duran while playing their game.
Broner just looked overwhelmed and too confused at times. Not to mention the vicious KD's. If it hadn't been for his clinching too, he would've been KD more times too.

went out to bang with him with really low output of punches. guy kept going forward after getting rocked like 6 times. we all knew that marcos came into the fight to lose to broner, just like the ortiz fight. no excuses.

Floyd defense has always been that good even in the amateurs.:patsch

And Show me where he got rocked alot.:huh

Floyd never had trouble making weight. Broner already out grew 135lb-take a look at his dad, Broner has fat genes.

Duran was already considered an ATG at that point and it was a close enough fight (I had it close but clear in Duran's favour).

Plus Leonard hadn't feasted on such inferior opposition and had already fought and beat a great opponent (Wilfred Benitez) before he stepped in there with Duran so it wasn't like he got beat the first time he stepped up like with Broner.

Plus, SRL conducted himself with class in public when he won and lost so people were much more sympathetic to him after Montreal.

Leonard may have fought the wrong fight in Montreal but it's not like being a fleet-footed dancer was his usual style anyway. He was generally more of a flat-footed boxer. Excellent power in his left hook, great finisher.

He changed his style for the rematch (and Hagler and Duran 3).
