Cotto better show some good footwork ... some savvy ... some good head/shoulder movements ... and work his ass off on the inside. He better fight smart because if he doesn't ... he's going to look like Golden Johnson.
Interesting......the main reason a Cotto fight is so exciting is because he IS smart in the ring........i guess thats why I'm a fan

Cotto has cut against 3 out of his last 4 opponents ... Margarito cuts very often ... who's subject to get cut first?
Dude, read my comment before assuming. I said IF HE DOESN'T FIGHT SMART. Chagaev fought VERY smart against Valuev. That's all I was saying.:rasta
He will probably use the blueprint Floyd Mayweather employed against the always moving forward Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton.
Wow what an example. For one, Valuev is a lumbering giant who looks like he's been frozen for 10,000 years. He doesn't utilize uppercuts well and he doesn't have the best footwork even for the big heavyweights. He also at that point was not the best inside fighter and that is being polite. Chagaev is also a southpaw meaning he was able to slip under Valuev's jab, throw straight lefts to the body and circle. Margarito is a killer inside fighter and has a great uppercut. He also has footwork at least compareable to a jr.middleweight and he doesn't move like he's been frozen for 10,000 years.
Cotto will fight smart at times and will slug at times as well, that's how he fights, it will be entertaining regardless.
Even if he does fight smart I expect alot of exchanges, Cotto will just be getting the better of them.
