    This fight makes total sense.

    Jones will win.

I can see why it's funny, but this type of talk belongs in a comedy club.. Forrest won't ever amount to **** ever again if he truly believe this while trying to be the class clown of the UFC.

Anderson Silva would give the same answer. He would get Chaeled 2x.

If you dont have a Damien Maia BJJ or a better wrestler, avoid Bones at any cost.

So who do you think can beat Jones, of course anyone CAN beat him, this is MMA...but who would you favor over him?

A peaking Bones? Machida is a cunning fighter and can pick spots and hes the only one at 205 who has a strong enough base to avoid a takedown.

It's a horrible fight for Forrest Griffin, but if I was the UFC I'd make it.

Jones has done very well so far, but he needs to step up and beat a big name and Dana has said he is holding off on a title shot for now. Griffin is a former champion and a respected and well known face to the casual fans. A fight between the two would generate a lot of interest and could propel Bones to the next level of stardom.

That would be a great fight that makes sense for both Griffin and Franklin.

im not a forrest griffin fan, but jon jones's fans need to be brought down to earth. I remember when luis cane looked unstoppable too after he beat rameau sokoudjou. damn, he looked like the mma version of antonio "chin of steel" margarito. but it was not to be when he fought minitoro noguiera, and got ko'd in the first round.

    cut the bull****.

you guys keep asking "who can beat jones in the lightheavywieght division". he beat Vladimir Matyushenko in his last fight. before that brendon vera. last time I checked neither of these guys were not top of the division.

"Machida is a cunning fighter and can pick spots and hes the only one at 205 who has a strong enough base to avoid a takedown." - can you believe this ****!!

when will you people learn to reserve judgement. "Anderson Silva would give the same answer. He would get Chaeled 2x." damn chimba its embarrassing to read this ****. but then you are blinded by hatred for anderson silva.

my question is "if" jon jones is as good as everyone says, and he steamrolls through the division and wins the ufc lhw title, then defends it say 5 or 6 times. he becomes the best lhw in history and dominates the wieghtclass for years. then some ufc hype job comes along and beats a couple mid level players impressively. would he then be favored over jon jones?

what I mean to say is mma seems to be all about hype, guys that prove their worth like anderson or fedor are bashed and said to be overrated by so many "fans." why is this?

maybe reality is not good enough for you. perhaps your attention span is too short. Stop drinking those ufc energy drinks and sit still, relax, come back to reality and appreciate what you see in front of you.

Im not saying that jon jones is not good and even impressive at times. But to favor jones over anderson silva, shogun, lil nog, machida, rampage ect. what is wrong with reservation of judgment.

Basically stop hopping from one hypetrain/bandwagon to the next, its not a race to see "who called it" first on the next big thing.

What makes you an expert on reality - Jon Jones is an up and coming prospect who is extremely talented in both wrestling and striking and has devastating power - being only 23 and to be able to dominate his opponents the way he has is an amazing achievement. Who knows if he will be a LHW champion in the future - but he certainly has what it takes to become one. I wouldnt necessarily favour him over silva, shogun, machida or rampage but purely looking at his performances thus far he would definitely be a good match for them.
