    Just read here...

Every fighter they ask him if he is willing to face, he's like "yep" that would be great fight for me!

I respected him when he lost to Froch, he took it like a man, when he fought injured and now this. He is THAT dude :)

love him as a fighter, but no need for the "never bet against a black guy" quote

Bet he thought the same thing going into the fight with Froch too...

I saw the Calzaghe/Lacy fight at a sport's bar in Montreal with him. He was so sure that Lacy would win. That was a funny evening.

I don't think he takes his own quotes to seriously. He's a joker.

Jean Pascal has a big head.

That said, if you followed his career, well, lets say his 5 last fights, he was not always impressive. There was a running gag about "le vrai Jean-Pascal" or, the "real" Jean-Pascal. The thing is, he always was great knocking about bums, but he had trouble with some even arguably decent boxers. Then, when he did rather poorly against them and wasn't impressive, he said after the fight: "You didn' tsee the real Jean-Pascal!". He said that after 2 poor performances... So people started to ask themselves when they were going to see the REAL(tm) Jean-Pascal...

While he was in talk with Edison Miranda (who would have KO'd him I was pretty sure at teh time), they both fought on the same card. Pascal was facing Omarr Pittman, and he almost got KO'd, barely got the win ... Then Miranda KO'd his opponent and left him hanging on the ropes... And Jean Pascal was playing the tough guy, screaming that he wanted to fight Edison Miranda RIGHT NOW, even made the sign that he would cut off his head.

(advance to 1m30 for the confrontation)

Anyhow, I don't think he's ready for "anybody" now... I think it was obvious against condomdepot that condomdepot was more skilled... And I think the rematch might be harder for JP than their first match... Yeah ok he's probably better now than he was, but... Yvon Michel is a smart guy, I don't think he'll just throw him to the wolves...

LOL WHY DON'T YOU JUST ADMIT THAT YOU'RE A HATER.

    :deal

Yvon Michel takes more risks with Jean Pascal than Interbox with all of their fighters combined

Pascal fights Froch and Chad Dawson
Alcine fights Simms, Santos and Angulo
    Lontchi fights JuanMa Lopez
    Demers fights Arthur Abraham
Ngoudjo fights Castillo, Malignaggi, and Urango

ALL THOSE GUYS ARE GYM FIGHTERS. The best opponent Diaconu ever fought other than Pascal was RICO HOYE

The best opponent BUTE ever fought is LIBRADO ANDRADE and he almost lost the first one!

Interbox just has the "Cage aux sports" machine behind them and the Eric Lucas "Good Guy" image...

Ça fait dur. Tu penses que MIRANDA aurait batu Pascal! LOL. HATER

lol don't be dense I'm a Montrealer, I'm just being realistic, did you follow his career or was the first time you saw him was a week ago?

Your 2nd statement is also false, he took a lot of chances with a lot of his fighters... Sometimes it paid off, sometimes it didn't... Definitely payed off vs Dawson, but that was a mandatory defense. Other than that, JP fought Froch, Diaconu for the title (that's not a risk...)... That's about it. That's definitely not "more risks than all Interbox fighters combined" lol

If you don't like Pascal, you're not a boxing fan...or just racist, like me.

He used to be cocky but he settled down now and became more humble. He really won me as a fan for not just his heart in the ring but his class outside of it especially after the Froch loss. Him and Froch are buddies now who would've guessed they would be before the fight!

I thought that was Floyd Mayweather? :huh Look at pic on the left though! :D Though yours is quite hotter though... I'd fight her ;)

Nah, Emmanuel Steward said it well, Pascal is like Roy Jones, but he's not Roy Jones... I think any, black or white, boxer with a good technique, solid base will give him trouble... But obviously, he'll have to fight, not like Dawson...

As I said, Dawson was a mandatory defense. That wasn't a risk, that was a mandatory defense. Froch was for the title... Again, not a risk, it's a title fight... Diaconnu, same, it was for a belt.

Diaconu gave Pascal a shot though. That wasn't a mandatory. Could have fought some bum, chose Pascal.

Bute, just give it some time buddy. You don't put a boxer in the ring against anyone. He'll have bigger fights, don't worry about it.

"Demers fights Arthur Abraham" lol And what a fight that was... :patsch

LMAO. Come on man, watch the two vids, if it was Miranda instead of Pittman fighting JP, he'd have taken his head off... Like I said, you have to be realistic.

Earlier in JP's career, I could see the potential, and the talent was evident to see. But, against better boxers, he shone less... Much less than against bums... Now against good fighters, he's having trouble. And yeah, definitely would have lost against Abraham, a blessing for him that fight didn't happen... Still a good fighter though, maybe even great... But I don't see him as dominant... Yet...

J'te dis j'aime bien pascal, mais contre abraham, oubli-ca, il aurait pas fini le match sur ses pieds ca c'est sûr...
