Not really. In Floyds first say 16 fights, how many times was he in a back and forth fight where he was having to give and take big shots? He wasnt
Joshua wasnt a slow starter either. Just look at how he went after Whyte in the first round. Completely dispels what you are saying.
You are looking at someone with many title fights and a 50 fight career to pick and choose bouts from to fighters who were both still in teen numbers with the amount of fights they had had

I’ve got to say, I think it’s the opposite, in that Joshua has had the greater progression. He’s taken on tougher opponents, been exposed to the big occasions regularly, and above all, his pacing and composure have come on so much since the first fight.

I think it could depend on how people see it.
There are fans that feel Parker should have got the decision over Joshua and Whyte. Joshua and Parker didnt really seem to land too many clean shots on the other

    Fair enough.
I agree Joshua has fought the greater comp. No question. Im just saying that I think his approach since then is a bit more reserved and not as gung ho. Not saying that is right or wrong but the Joshua who went all out to blast out Whyte wasnt the same approach as the Joshua who tried to box more against Parker and Povetkin.
This is why I think it may be a longer fight if they fought again as I dont think Joshua is going as all out and waiting more and think that slower pace would appeal to Whyte more

    Depends really.
Povetkin had a tough time with Takam who Chisora stopped and Joshua I think was finding Takam hard to budge.
Chisora stopped Scott who took Ortiz the distance so I really think the triangle type theories can often go out of the window

Whyte has the worst skill:hype ratio of any boxer I can think of today. Utterly surprising how a boxer who is barely coordinated enough to throw a few punches together whilst maintaining balance, is considered to be that good. And all this talk about improvement is literally nonexistent. He's the same fighter he's ALWAYS been. Just a little dirtier compared to before.

I mean, I literally feel like vomiting and puking when watching this joker Whyte fight. That's how ugly and disgusting his style looks. He makes Povetkin look like Mozart and Joshua look like Da Vinci. Seriously, Joshua is going to do another number on him and people are going to start questioning why they ever hyped up this clown so highly to begin with.

    Whyte hype = Eddie's marketing.

Yeah, I believe that he is more reserved also, but that comes with maturity. Joshua’s still very active in the ring, but he seems to wait for the right openings now.

So, while I don’t see him trying to blast Whyte out, as a result I reckon he’ll time him better, so when Joshua does throw his bombs they’re much more effective.

    No explanation needed from you.

He won the regular WBA belt off Chagaev, and became a world champion.

    And that is all.

Okay fair enough if it’s not needed from me. Just make sure you get the education from someone else though

Of course to get hype for many fighters marketing is involved and Eddie does a great job of selling fights to fans but to be fair to Whyte he does seem to get under his opponents skin and do a big part in making the fights sell on things like The Gloves Are Off

Both fighters have improved massively. That said I see a routine win for Joshua and makes it look easier than the last.
