    I always felt the knees going out probably saved him from an past prime existence like RJJ. Imo, he and Jones have styles that rely on physical gifts. And when that goes and it often does before the mind goes, athletes can never give it up when they should. That saved him years of getting KO'd before realizing that his body really is done, even while he thinks he's still the man, in Jones' case at least.

    He was a great fighter at middleweight, nobody really wanted a part of him at that time, he was a bad man. Some great fighters just don't have the luck to get everything out of their career. Cotto would never become a Middleweight champion against a Sergio Martinez at 100%. No chance at all.

    Very exciting fighter... My friends used to call me Martinez because we had the same hair style hahaha... Loved his style... Loma kinda fights like him... But Sergio was one of a kind

    Yeah in a limited division he was the best no doubt about that,I'd of loved to have seen GGG and Martinez but I'm not sure he'd of beaten Golovkin?

    Martinez ducked, both Pirog, and Golovkin, instead opting to fight Euro level guys like Macklin, and domestic level guys like Barker, or blown up smaller men like Dzinziruk, and Williams.
