First fight was too close to think it'll be one-sided this time so I don't see why this fight is being insulted. YES, a fight with Cotto would've been far better no one can deny that but this fight isn't a disgrace at all, is there a better fight to make instead now that Cotto/Margarito are set to fight? This will be a good fight and Mayweather's father being in ODLH's corner might bring him the W this time, this is boxing anything is possible here.
It was a close fight in my opinion Lance, I honestly scored the first fight for DLH. This doesn't mean that a rematch will be different or is necessary, definitely not but it's not a disgrace either. DLH is getting older anyway and the way he fought Forbes is enough proof that he might lose clearly this time around but you never know. Also I expect Floyd to 100% fight the winner of Cotto/Margarito if he comes out victorious here. Here's a question I would really like an answer to, who else is better to fight than DLH now that Marg/Cotto are set to fight each other?, any other boxer worth fighting instead?
Never say neer I guess....I just don't see DLH doing any better. I guess he can jab more, and we'll see how Floyd reponds to that. DLH still gets tired late. We'll see how HE handles that too. There really is no one else available. But aside from official announcements, DLH and Mayweather have been locked together pretty much for a year already. IT's good the others are fighting each other rather then waiting.

After the first fight, Oscar was satisfied to move on. The one clamouring for the rematch was Floyd. Admittedly , money is a factor but generally, if you think you've won convincinngly, you don't pursue a rematch. If you feel you've left doubts, however..... ? I scored the first on a draw (Rounds 1,5, 9,10,11,12 to Floyd. Rounds 2,3,4,6,7,8 to Oscar). If I HAD to pick one or other, I would pick Floyd as he won his rounds a little more convincingly. So a SD for Floyd, I believe, was not far off the mark. Oscar has the best chance of beating Floyd of anyone out there (with the possible exception of Shane), around 35-40 % IMO. I'll be watching the rematch, live if it's available where i am. And so will nearly everyone else posting here, including those who say they won't.
Boxers wanting money will ask for a rematch even if they won convincingly. Mayweather's talking about a Hatton rematch. Hell, Wright was talking about a Trinidad rematch and even sort of making excuses for Tito in the post fight interview after beating him 12-0.
