I wont be paying to watch two no body's as a main event. khan's got a long way to go before he is worthy of being a ppv fighter.
Mmm kinda disagree, amateur and pro is like two different sports to me. Amateur is like a game of tig
Oooh check you "dont talk back or I'll ban you", and you call him an internet warrior, how is misspelling Khan racist, gies peace. The guys got an opinion so let him have it, unless this site is called the we love Amir Khan.com :--( There are a load of guys on here who think he is a fraud and want him to lose, you gonna try and get everyone banned cause of it:huh
If I informed you it was free to drink your own pish would you slurp it up like a milk shake Could you get 5 dafties in the room at the same time:?:hey
I agree. If people are too poor to pay for the card then there's no need to shout about it. Unless, of course, they're looking for us to do a whip around.
I might not pay for Khan, but I sure respect him, what a comeback he's made. Pick it apart all you like, he's out to prove his critics wrong.
What a bunch of whingers, ill be going down the pub and wont be paying a penny. I wouldn't pay the £15 if i was sat on my own on a Saturday night either.
hhhhhmmmm? have you ever boxed? let me tell you a punch to the face from a trained fighter amateur or pro even in sparring is far from pleasant. amateur boxing may have changed but punches still hurt, believe you me as for khan, the kid has a lot of heart to get into the ring with world class boxers because even he knows he doesnt have the strongest chin although he has talent as a boxer but im just not comfortable with him being on ppv, he hasnt achieved enough to be worthy of it. he is probably being pushed by people behind him and after all boxing is a cut throat buisness where khan could literally have his money earning abiltiy taken from him at any time so if people are willing to ppv his fights then fair enough. cant say il be one of them tho
Yep I have. Of course they hurt, but to what extent? I think if you asked everyone of the guys who went to the Olympics who have now turned pro, is there a difference, I bet they would nearly all say yes, cause if it wasnt different then all of the guys who win the Olympics would be champion eventually, right? There is a world of difference between those big scoring gloves and headguards the amateurs use, to a 8oz pair of Cleto Reyes and no headguard, no?? And I take it from your response that you are an amateur boxer who has taken my post as a personal insult? Well dont, I'm entitled to my opinion bud.:good
