Mayweather is too scared to fight someone bigger than him in his prime. If he did though, Floyd via suckerpunch.:dead

He could. But I really doubt he has the balls to step up and fight him.

With the way martinez goes around with his hands down i would say Floyd would batter him....

If Floyd uses the high guard and walks Sergio down I think he wins a ud, still a very very tough fight though

floyd would beat him before or after the darren barker fight. floyd should fight pacman first
and then challenge martinez for his mw championship for the cherry on top of his stellar career. this fight should take place at 160 no catchweights.

****, if that's the case, why not just have the fight at middleweight?

Martinez went up against a taller, rangier opponent with an excellent jab.

When has Mayweather ever fought this type of opponent?

    OH ****...

    Never.

floyd has seen it all and been in the ring with all styles.

    slow fighters
    fast fighters
    strong fighters
    iron chin fighters
    sluggers
    slick fighters
    south paws
    bigger then floyd
    smaller then floyd
    black
    white
    guys with great jabs
guys that throw great body shots
    mexicans
    cubans
    ricans
    africans
    african americans

he has seen it all and beat them all. people forget floyd has been a pro since 96 and a champion since 97. hes not the new kid hype job on the block.its pretty safe to say the man has what it takes. you dont fight that long and not have what it takes. somebody would have been pulled his ho card if he was hoe.

I'm still flabbergasted that people have Martinez over Donaire p4p. Martinez beat who that deserves this ranking?

    Kermit, no heart, Cintron
Kelly, in rehab instead of training for the fight, Pavlik
Paul, never had a defence, Williams

If Martinez can make 154, Floyd beats him.
At 160 it would be tougher. Martinez does punch hard so you can't discount that. If Kelly Pavlik could have Martinez figured out by the middle rounds, Floyd would have him figured out pre fight.

i agree, but i think it was because marvilla was the underdog in every fight big time and he was winning in exciting fights. fighter of the year ok with upset wins and mw belt fine. but top 3 p4p is huh a lil much. but hey maybe it aint.

I know this is a troll thread but everytime some fighter fights, the *****s come out of the employment line and yap about how Floyd will have an easy time with said fighter.

Floyd is NOT going up to face Maravilla anytime soon.

    Pac...MIGHT, as a farewell fight.

    haha right...floyd isnt...but pac might....sure thing pal

lol...you have nothing to base this on....floyd took on an actual 154 champion at 154....pac won a vacant belt at a catch....had to have catch weights to win a 147 belt that was hand delivered to cotto via michael jennings....

but pac is just so into taking these huge challenges!!!
