I think Joshua had a panic attack last night.

He was just a deer in headlights when the fight wasn't going his way. That's what was wrong with him.

Posters need to understand the difference between anxiety as a condition and performance anxiety (stage fright) they’re not the same thing!

IF Joshua suffered a strong anxiety attack and we are only speculating that’s what happened, then it almost certainly wasn’t performance anxiety as that subsides once the action starts.
However if it were a serious anxiety attack for which the trigger had nothing to do with MSG, Ruiz or Boxing then it’s far more powerful, debilitating and quite frankly can be terrifying.

Outwardly at least, Joshua did display many signs of anxiety last night, maybe we’re wrong but something wasn’t the same right from the start of the ring walk

Lol Why don't people make these excuse for Tyson in Tokyo? He had way more on the line that AJ ever did.

Ruiz is getting no credit. Dude didn't give a **** bout AJ size and power even after the KD. He just did his thing.

Looking back the signs we,re there. Joshuas body shuts down when he gets hurt in much the same way brunos brain shut down. Both klitchko and whyte had him slowed down for rounds after hurting him. I ve always said joshuas gas tank was decent. Its when he gets hurt it totally leaves him. Its just that ruiz had the tools to make him pay for it. He couldnt get back recovered in time. Whyte actually tore his shoulder as he was going in for the finish and wlad stood off him letting him recover. Ruiz was the first guy that hurt him then was able to stick it on him before he recovered.

Joshuas mind clears but pretty sure the rest of his functions shut down. Massive problem for him to overcome bearing in mind you will eventually get clipped at heavyweight boxing.

I think he was nervous because it was his US debut (Bum Squad is such a female dog for not being in attendance) which is a really big and nerve-racking deal and those nerves were exacerbated upon feeling Ruiz's speed and power and it dawning on him that they were going to be a problem and there was a higher chance of him losing than he had anticipated. And I think said nerves were obviously exacerbated even further upon him getting dropped and then they shot right through the roof when he got dropped for the second time shortly after and the realization dawned on him that everything was about to go pear shaped and his worst fears were about to come true. I believe he was in full on panic mode by then and obviously under immense pressure and you name me a non-gypsy who wouldn't be under such colossal pressure. But Ruiz would've still beat him either way.

AJ's old man seemed to be very angry with E-Hearn for some reason and was giving him a piece of his mind in the ring during Ruiz's post-fight interview. It's just a shame AJ was there to hold him back because the ungrateful swine deserved an Essex Kiss for his disgraceful behaviour and best believe Eddie is just the man to give him one.

Tyson had lost or removed everyone who helped make him what he was, Cus D’amato, Jim Jacobs, Bill Caton & Kevin Rooney. In turn he’d replaced them with Don King who was manipulating him, Aaron Snowell and Jay Bright who knew nothing about preparing a boxer to fight let alone advise him between rounds during a crisis.

That said, Tyson suffered from well documented mental problems

Here's my explanation for what happened last night:

One fighter hit another fighter upside his head until he was busted. Then he got the belts.

    Fin.

So he is mentally Brit tle? it looked like he didnt expect to be put on his azz by Ruiz and was not respecting the Mexican fighter.Overconfidence and to me he needs to be humble.First fight outside Britain he isnt coddled he has to toughen the funk up.
