The Elite XC was a second hand MMA org at best. The UFC is not going anywhere. It's one of the smartest run businesses and highest money making franchises in any sport today. Period. End of sentence. And :deal That said - this rivalry between MMA/UFc and boxing is purely fictitious and is wholly a fabrication of boxing fans that feel threatened by the emergence of a new fighting sport. I am a boxing fan as well as a fan of mixed martial arts. It is OK to enjoy both.
EliteXC was a poorly managed company that probably commited felonies in their last show, MMA as a whole, and the UFC in particuarly, are still "taking over" Not actually taking over, because both sports will always exist, its just that MMA is becoming mainstream, and hitting the right demographics.
You really cant compare one company with 200 fighters to boxing who has thousands on top of thousands. Sure MMA isnt free very much but im ok with it I have no problem paying for a PPV that has 5 fights that im very much looking forward to instead of paying 10 dollars more usually to see one fight that winds up sucking most of the time.
All I Know Is Boxing Is Still Counting On All These Old Fighters That Were Contenders 10 Yrs Ago. One Of There Up Comers Got Whip Up To A 43 Yr Old This Weekend. Mma Is Were It Is At, Boxing Can't Compete Wit Mma!!jmo
That Was Ufc Free Event And Still Clowned The Paper View Event, Under Cards Were Horrible For The Boxing.
