Cotto is a good solid puncher, If Pac can handle them shots surely he can take Floyds?

It amazing that so many posters only see with a NARROW MIND.

Floyd beats Oscar and Hatton. Yet Pacquiao beats Oscar and hatton and all of a sudden he is the next best thing since SLICED BREAD.

You call Oscar "Past it" when Floyd beats him...But its a Quality quality win for Manny. You so easily say that Hatton didn't belong above 140lbs...Yet have no problem with De La Hoya fighting at 147lbs.

Everyone laughs at Floyd's win over Judah...But its somehow its a GREAT win for Cotto when he beats Judah. Everyone also laughs at Floyds win over Mitchell, but have NO PROBLEM with Kosta Tzsyu fighting Mitchell TWICE!!!

Flyd CLEANED out the ENTIRE 130lbs and 135lbs Division!!!! And after that it was all about getting titles. Immediately at 140lbs, he fought two title eliminators (Corley & Bruseles) which made Floyd the MANDATORY challenger for Gatti's title.

At 147lbs...Had a fight signed with a Dangerous 2-loss Judah...Was it Floyds fault that Judah lost to Baldomir. Once Baldomir became the Linear Champ...HBO, ESPN, FIGHT-NEWS, FIGHTHYPE AND ESB all wanted to know why Floyd is not fight the Linear Champ (Baldomir)...And afer he beat him...Just like everyone esle...you all same the SAME ****...:"Why not fight this guy or that guy....BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!"

Floyd has fought and beat every style...Long Rangy Power Punchers (Corrales) / Pressure Mexican Fighters (Castillo) / Slick Lefty Speed (Corley & Judah) / Euro Brawler (Hatton) / Warriors (Gatti) / Mexican American Puncher (Oscar).

Pac has beaten the same kind of fighter...HISPANIC PUNCHING BAGS Solis, Valasquez, Diaz, Barerra, Morales, Marquez, Oscar, Cotto...that have NO DEFENSE AND JUST CONTINUES TO GET HIT OVER & OVER & OVER.
Hatton is the exact same....just European.

And for you or anyone to say PAC is FASTER than Floyd is just plain...SAD!!!

At least Floyd has fought FAST fighters. Cotto by far was the fastes fight Pac has faced...And by Round 3...It looked like Cotto had MAPLE SYRUP in his Gloves.

And for the record...Alexander and The Peterson Brothers...Would light Manny's ass up...and would'nt even get touched!!!

Do you mean running???? Mayweather obviously. Maywerather does not have the fastest footspeed and does noit close distance as well as pac. He relies on his opponents to close distance before he can unleash his fast handspeed via counterpunch.

You have to make two different distinction : handspeed and footspeed.

Some fighters have very good footspeed while others have very good handspeed.

Good handspeed but very robotic footspeed - Oscar Dela Hoya (even when in his prime)

Good handspeed with average footspeed - Marquez

Average handspeed with less than average footspeed - Cotto

Excellent handspeed (probably the fstest one - two punch handspeed not 5 - 7 punch combination) with bolt - like speed for running (not offensive means) - Mayweather

Excellent handspeed with punch combination with excellent footspeed with excellent distance closer- Pac

    Hope that answers your question.

I love all of Floyd's comments about Pacquiao's past.
"Has he been outboxed before?" Yeah... by morales.. you're no morales.
"Has he been knocked out before?" Yeah, as a teenager, big ****ing deal.
"Has floyd mayweather lost before?" Some people think so.

I don't think you read my post correctly. I think YOU have the narrow mind.

I laughed at Bruseles not Judah.

I didn't say Pac was faster. I said equal.

I didn't make a big deal of Pac's win over Oscar. I said Oscar was past it and was a common opponent.

Judah did not have 2 losses when he faced Floyd. He had 3 losses. Same as Pac.

Baldomir had 9 losses when he fought Floyd. Pac's 3 losses & being stopped before shouldn't be a big deal for Floyd but it is.

And for you to say "Alexander & the Peterson Bros would light Manny's ass up... And wouldn't even get touched" proves I've had enough of this conversation.

No it does not. I asked for a name or names. Not all the other stuff you included. Also, If Floyd is a runner, what was that when Pac faced Oscar? Oh that was in and out boxing.

pac gets KTFO in the 11th, the fight will have a similar flow of the Hatton fight for Mayweather, but with a lot less wrestling, Mayweather slowly outclasses Manny, and then ultimately..................the 11th.

floyd's interpretation of knocking someone out is, jab for 12 rounds and then win by points.

but i guess thats good enough for him and the boxing fans.

    hmm says . . .

nah the flow is totally different... the wrestling took too much time for the inevitable... I was literally saying "GD" most of the time whenever one of them clinched. Either the fight will be fast paced or drawn out due to their styles. I will agree though the wrestling will be omitted and I still say there will be no KO.

 who has floyd fought with speed? Judah is the only opponent i can think of and he was given major problems by Judah in the first half of their fight. Your logic is unbelievably flawed.

pbf won't try to ko pac as that would require a firefight. if the ko comes he takes it. not sure it will though as I expect a very tactical fight.

He said the same thing bout hatton and many thought he couldn't. That check hook was a thing of beauty or maybe i am exaggerating and hatton slipped.
