Groves is never getting more than 25%. talk of him getting any more is utter rubbish.

Only if it goes to purse bids can he potentially get more

Purse bid doesn't dictate percentage only total purse amount.

Who wouldn't bid for this fight?? Whoever gets it can still use Sky PPV!! Do you think they won't talk to anyone else other than Matchroom?? Also Boxnation would make millions from this fight . How many people would buy this fight whether on a Sky PPV or Boxnation!! Or wait a minute a premium with BT Sport lots of options

i hope the ibf are consistent in enforcing rematches for any future contentious results.

i said outbid. boxnation are not going to outbid Hearn for this fight. and BT sports haven't made any big moves into boxing. Groves has no promoter to bid on his behalf.

It sounds like GG has shafted himself here by knocking back the 25% offer.

I can see a scenario where Froch says to let it go to nurse bids and he gets 85% of the split and if GG doesn't like it there is no fight.

Both fighters want the fight imo, however, both of them want a much bigger piece of the cash than are prepared to concede.

Forgive me but if IBF have installed George as the number 1 he get's 25% not 15% is Hearn lying. He was bullshitting anyway because when he said they offered Groves 25% why would Groves go to the IBF if he was already getting his 25%

I actually think Groves wants to mess with Froch's head and isn't that bothered about the money. Sounds crazy but Froch did sound slightly rattled last night on Ringside.

Hearn is saying that as GG is not ranked in the top 4 or 5 with the IBF the split is 85/15 - if he was higher ranked it would have been 75/25.
