Exactly how I see this one going, Iggy would be a ******ed to take this fight. Iggy is better off taking on Golota or Tua and get a nice pay day, he would probably end up keeping his title as well. Since he dont have to take this fight he shouldnt, if he wants another title he would wait on Chagaev.

Iggy would be wise to take this fight IF he gets paid buckets of money for it. His chances are poor. I can't imagine him doing anything but getting stopped.

Yawner. Sorry but this fight won't even be competitive. Wlad by TKO, middle rounds.

If Wlad is #1 and Peter is #2 why isnt Wlad already the ring champ?

No 1 has to fight no 2 and the winner will become the ring champ.

I'm guessing that Wlad wasn't ring champ when he fought Peter, or Peter wasn't #2 at the time?

Wlad and Peter weren't at the top when they fought. Wlad became #1 by beating Peter then Byrd, who were both in the top 10. (i believe they were 7 and 8 respectively at the time). Peter, i believe became #2 by beating Toney twice who was #4 I believe, and losses by Byrd, Ruiz, Toney and Wlad moving up.

Complete and total speculation until we get a source saying it's official.

    Official my ass.

But if it happens, I kinda feel sorry for Sultan. I mean, he got Briggs and Holyfield to shut up for a while, but his chances against Wlad are slim to none. I give him props if this fight happens.
