This content is protected There is a right and wrong answer, btw - this isn't a matter of subjective opinion. Rather, your subjective opinion is subject to being objectively right or wrong - and you will be judged (harshly) for being wrong. There was a bit of heated controversy back in 2011 when this happened, with the usual expected barracuda frenzy of groupthink. I'm curious to see, nearly a decade hence, if this place's collective IQ has gone up any.
I think the right side of his head was hitting the canvas rather hard. or He was really hurt by the body shots before and a little voice in his head told him to stay down .
Yeah, why not. JMM was a good puncher and a right definitely landed. Plus, as mentioned, the guy hit his head pretty hard on the way down. Legit KO. And also, who cares if it wasn't. At the time of the controversy, were people arguing that Ramos would have won?
What looks odd is the way he came down. What didn’t look odd was the direct, flush lightning-quick right hand that landed on the button.
Looked like a legit knockdown for sure. But without the aid of slow motion replay or even another angle at regular speed how can you truly tell if he was Ko’d on the way down by the shot?
Likar Ramos got stopped in 7 out of his 9 losses, JMM is Likar highest level opponent...so it can be a real KO Another possibility is that Ramos is a rational person & decides to stay down when he thinks he can't take it anymore
Looked like a solid shot to me. Maybe he 'could' have got up - you know, wait for the ref's count to reach nine and then stand up and stagger around basically pleading for it to be waved off - but that doesn't make it faked.
Yes. Though I wouldn't be shocked if Ramos stayed down turning the KD into a KO. And even if not, Roidquez replicated it in Pac 4.
Well riodquez definitely hit him...so that's a good start compared to real dives. Didn't look like the biggest of shots and even though he was "lights out" he managed to take a step backward into the fall? hmmmm. This guy is a potato brought to be cut, sliced and peeled...finding an easy way out is always a good option for potato. Can't discount it. Nothing about this gives off the vibe of a 100% genuine reaction from Ramos. I'm picking fake. which I'm sure is the same thing I thought back when this happened. There isn't normally a phase between a shot landing and being "out cold" there is clearly a phase of consciousness there which then disappears, whether that's a legit bodily action or just him acting, we'll never know. It looks odds...and given he's a can for the slaughter you can't complain about people saying he's faking it. I know the "correct" answer by your subjective opinion is it's real also. So please judge harshly and call me an idiot all you like.
Clear solid knockdown and the awkward fall seems to bounce his head. Was probably hurt enough to not want any more and didn't attempt getting up. Also should they have been jostling around his head and rubbing his neck like that? Seems a poor idea
Fake as hell. The doctor or someone over there says "Abrase" (open your eyes) and Likor opens his eyes and stops pretending to be asleep. Likor got hit with a shot, but for whatever reasons he pretended to be asleep and didn't try to get up.
First one that came up from whatever search criteria I put in. So what? The one you posted shouldn't be yielding determinations any different than would the one in the OP. The correct answer is equally clear to see in both, regardless of quality or replays. I'm not sure why you felt this mattered tbh.
