How does someone making fake emails, posing as Mayweather Jr, and making fraudulent statements compare to a fight rumor?

You're claiming someone posed as Mayweather Jr. and said this, but not only that, they got it to run on ESPN.

Then you use a fight rumor as a comparison.

    Listen to yourself.

or choosing the spelling nazi route. Or insulting someone because of their location.

    One of many first signs.

Why is a fight rumor run on ESPN for days as "official" when Guererro was never even considered by the Mayweather camp?

If Fat Dan, the go to guy for ESPN in boxing and on this subject, hasn't been contacted and is questioning the validity of the email on live television, then maybe, just maybe if you can wrap your head around it, the story wasn't vetted. Yes, it's happened before if you ever read anything other than the funny pages, and it happens all the time when it involves sports.

That being said, certain people are so so happy that this "roadblock" happened. I didn't see much of anyone saying **** when Floyd personally called Manny. Now it's like naysayers for this fight are rejoicing cause now there's something else in the way.

WTF? Is that your boyfriend? Not spelling correctly isn't a big deal, not spelling correctly while trying to call someone stupid is another.

The Ohio thing was a legitimate question. :patsch

Kid just can't admit he was wrong so he has to go another route. I'm through having my fun with him.

Seriously, anyone that would post this and then try and defend that position?
Being ignorant of something is one thing, but he has gone the route of willful stupidity trying to defend that position rather than admit he was wrong.

Why don't you chill out for a second? Boyfriend? Yet another irrelevant insult. He called you stupid because you keep denying the email was fake (that's his opinion, not mine so don't shoot the messenger). So him misspelling the word "internet", which was most likely a typo seeing "E" and "R" are right next to each other, has nothing to do with being a hypocrite for calling someone stupid.

Legitimate question? A rhetorical question, perhaps. Asking "Don't you live in Ohio" was implying "You live in Ohio. You shouldn't be calling anyone stupid!" And if it was really a legitimate question, what does being from Ohio have anything to do with the topic?

I just get pissed at willful ignorance. Second post to this thread was known be unsubstantiated. Yet the poster made it and disappeared knowing he would be called on it and couldn't respond.

This is all very simple. Nothing to debate.

    May picked the venue.
    May picked the date.
    May called Pac.
Pac said he would go as long as the revenue was 50/50.
Pac said May didn't agree to that.
ESPN gets an email from May saying NO WAY to 50/50.

I've worked in tech. Checking an email's validity is pretty simple. ESPN knows May's email address. Undoubtedly they checked the headers to make sure they weren't forged. This is simple. The headers tell you the mail server the email came from. Someone would have had to known Floyd's email address and sent from the same server to forge it. But, Floyd hasn't said it is a fake. He would have tweeted by now.

Trying to make any other case from what we DO know is just stupid.

You're insinuating it's fake by using no evidence at all, because Floyd hasn't said a word.

Floyd has 20 televisions in house, he would have said something a long time ago if he saw himself on ESPN talking and writing emails, that he didn't.

You, me and everyone else is hoping it isn't true.

Sounds like you think you're enlightening me and everyone else here , just shut up.

Ok, so you make an excuse for him insulting me and ****ing up by misspelling a word, showing that he also in fact, is a fool, way to go.

    Are you from Ohio? :think

Your opinion. So everyone who doesn't agree with you is stupid apparently.:patsch

How many times has there been a report of Floyd saying something, Floyd doing something, Floyd initiating something, and it's been from the word of his flunkies, or the guys that use his computers constantly. Cause I don't remember the last time Floyd has emailed anyone to be quoted on it, I just don't see how the cycle breaks now.

Dan Rafael has not commented on the validity of this email, actually, he's alluded to it not being real, and I'm sure he's looking into it as we speak. Once he does, if Floyd admits to sending it, then fine, you're right and it's blatant.
But, until then, you're believing something that is TOTALLY out of character for almost any boxer to do (emailing the press personally, and in regards to a personal negotiation/conversation at that).
