    I don't recall my exact breakdown, but I believe I gave Hopkins 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, and 10.

I really dont want to see Hops-Calzaghe again. I dont see how the outcome could be any different. Hops isnt going to get some amazing new stamina in 2009 that he didnt have for the last 4 years.

I would like to see Hops-Roy as a final match for both of them. **** they are at the same weight again. It would be a nice pay day for them both and since they are both slowed down and old a more even matchup.

Calzaghe should fight Pavlic. Hell he should have fought him in the first place instead of Hops or Roy.

    Hops-Roy II
    Calzaghe-Pavlic

Those fights should be made regardless of the outcomes of the upcoming fights. THey are the matches that should have occured in the first place.

Perhaps not, but he already proved he is capable of hurting Joe. Perhaps if he were to take more chances early-on in a rematch, things might turn out differently.

Lest we forget, Calzaghe's victory was razor-thin.

those are just the clear cut ones...5,6 and 8 could easily have gone to hopkins and he won round 11 on all 3 judges cards

If Hopkins and Calzaghe win, possibly a rematch. If Hopkins and Jones win, HOPEFULLY a rematch. If Pavlik and Calzaghe win, perhaps they fight. If Pavlik and Jones win, I don't believe they'll fight.

These show exactly what any none-american boxing expert knows - that Hopkins did not win a single round. The only one he could be given is round one because of the KD.

I am amazed that this guy in this tread said "these are just the obvious ones...". WHAT??? Hopkins did not win a single round obviously.. many will score round one for Hopkins although he didnt do anything except for the KD, but from there on in Calzaghe clearly outlanded Hopkins.

The conventional wisdom is that Calzaghe and Pavlik will win and then fight each other.

Complaints that Calzaghe is ducking Pavlik are unfounded.

He's beaten better (Kessler) and more hyped (Lacy), both when he was past his best days.

It would make sense to have the big fight with Jones first, and then Pavlik would still be there.

The longer he delays Pavlik, the poorer his chances though.

Roy may be shot to pieces but, as McGrain explained to you, you should not rule Roy out completely.

Ali looked pretty shot to me when he fought Spinks the first time.

I would put the probability of Roy winning as low, but I certainly wouldn't bet the farm against it.

The other matchup is, IMO, less certain.

Kelly should win, but I'm picking the upset here.

I don't buy the 'Bernard gassed' theory, at least not completely. He is obviousy past best days also, but Calzaghe's style and pressure had a bit to do with it.

Kelly is not Joe, and therein lies the difference.

Kelly has more chance of the KO as he has youth and power, but he also has more chance of being out-foxed as he's not even in the same general level as Calzaghe (yet, anyway).

So, somewhat against the grain, I'm picking Joe and Bernard to prevail.

I would like to then see Joe fight Dawson, (or Tarver, if Dawson should lose). That fight should be in Cardiff and be the last one, as time catches up eventually.

Bernard, if he beats Kelly, should probably retire on a high note.

Kelly should go back to 160 and face Abraham.

Obviously, in such a scenario, Roy should retire. (He should have retired exactly five years to the day earlier, IMO)

If Joe wins and Kelly wins, both Roy and Bernard should hang them up, or have one last $$$$ fest against each other and then retire.

And Joe would meet Kelly, the sooner the better.

Acording to the stats Reid landed more punches then Calzaghe - so what.

Joe will never fight Hopkins again. If he loses to Roy or if Hopkins beats Pavlik he might fight Roy again in Wales, something Roy wants to do anyway.

Jones did appear to be very keen on a rematch.

    You're missing something here, Beware.

If Joe should lose, it means Roy is not as shot as we thought.

If he can beat Joe, he should be more than capable of beating Kelly.

Didn't Calzaghe already announced that this will be his last fight? so if Calzaghe wins, he will retire undefeated. If Hopkins wins, then he will retire a winner.
