compubox statistics mean nothing...there was no quality to joes work and no mustard on any of those punches any fighter can wave there arms about and land on something compubox is so overrated its untrue it doesnt tell you quality and most of calzaghes punches landed on gloves arms shoulders etc. Compubox isnt even computerised its just a few guys not cut out to be proper judges counting and tabulating at ringside

Id agree as i dont like figures but they are to one sided, plus joe was the agresser the whole fight, shame compubox dont do clinches and how many instigated.

All your boy was there to do was spoil and clinch, i gave him the 1st and tenth and thats it. If it wasnt for him faking injury from a border line shot he was losing the tenth badly (got a nice rest) but hey**** happens.

The right man won i hope hopkins dosent go in the to spoil all night6 against pavlik.

Hopkins won NO rounds after four.

Of the first four, he gets one for sure (based entirely but legitimately on the KD).

Of rounds two, three and four, you could give him one, two or generously, all three.

    After that, nada.

    Round 10 ????

He needed all his acting skills to survive that round.

So the range of possible scores IMO were 11-1, 10-2, 9-3 and 8-4.

The last two are what two of the judges scored: 9-3 and 8-4.

The blind lady scored it 6-6.

    Not really.

    One judge scored it 6-6

The other two scored it 8-4 and 9-3

    Altogether, 23-13 in rounds.

It only appeared close because of the SD.

If Pavlik looses and Joe wins, Joe will retire.

I would like to see it come out like this

    Pavlik vs B-Hop, Hopkins wins
RJJ Vs Calzaghe, RJJ wins , Calzaghe gets embarressed.

    then B-Hop vs RJJ

and Calzaghe gets embarresed so he wants to bring back his career, and fights pavlik and gets KTFO, and everyone finds out Calzaghe was a fraud. then Calzaghe tries one last ditch effort to fight B-Hop again and loses tht aswell.

    that would be perfect.

Calzaghe retires and Hopkins possibly retires or finds someone else to fight.

If RJJ and Pavlik both win then they either negotiate a possible fight or RJJ ends up fighting Hopkins in a rematch(even if he loses) or the winner of Tarver/Dawson. Pavlik might go down to Middleweight and fight Abraham/Marquez winner. Not really giving RJJ any chance in this fight, if he had even a 1% chance then Calzaghe wouldn't sign to fight him.

    That's what Booradley wanted too.

I've seen similar posts re Maweather, Cotto, DLH, RJJ etc.

It seems that every successful fighter attracts their haters, evn more than those who do less well.

    That's what some haters do.

They sit around thinking up complicated and unlikely scenarios where their target might look bad.

(I'm told they often jerk off to the fantasy as well. Did you come when you typed

Or were you able to hold onto your load till the final

If Hopkins wins and Calzaghe wins:

Calzaghe will likely retire..or have one last gimme fight in Wales to cash in before retiring. Pavlik will have a few bounceback fights at 168 before a clash with an Abraham or Kessler type fighter. RJJ will face Hopkins in a retirement fight for both.

Calzaghe won't fight Hopkins again whatever happens.

He might fight Pavlik if they both win. The bigger the beating Pav gives Hopkins the bigger the chances.

Cal & Roy are obviously planning to fight again for preference, so unless the way the first fight goes makes it pointless, or Pav wins and puts a serious dent in the credibility of Joe's win over Hopkins then I guess this is what will happen.
