That's why you see a smaller aggressive fighter like Briedis have success against Usyk because he's in better condition and could fight hard for all 12 rounds.

I think the way to beat Usyk is an elite swarmer type like a Frazier or a Tyson.

Joshua wasn't aggressive enough vs Usyk even though he did ok in the rematch.

Fury's problem again is that he hasn't got the stamina down the stretch vs Usyk.

That's why alot of these bigger Heavyweights struggle vs Usyk. And that's why I think smaller but more skillful and better conditioned Heavyweights would do better vs Usyk.

It's not a coincidence that the fighter who landed the most punches on Usyk and gave Usyk his closest fight was a Cruiserweight.

Joshua didn't have any mechanism to land his punches. Most of the time he showed aggression he was being blocked/countered and nailed down the pipe.

Even with his mythical round 8 in the second fight if you put the footage on mute you'll see he barely lands anything.

Sometimes you can see some fighters having too many tough fights in succession where every fight becomes tough. Whether they are against tough opponents or fighting to the same level.
I recall thinking J Taylor, J Degale and K Taylor were having alot of tough draining fights before losing big fights

I wonder if both Dubois and Wardley are having alot of tough fights and may benefit from taking a few easier fights inbetween some bigger fights
