If both Manny and Floyd retired today, who would rank higher P4P all time?

So I'm a Mayweather fan more then a Manny Pacquiao fan. I like his skills better. I like his dedication to the sport better. And you can check my other posts I generally speaking think that at WW he's the far better fighter.

All that being said ranking all time P4P is different. I find people fall into two camps. Those that favor talent over all else and those that favor achievement over all else. I used to favor talent more when I was younger. But that was mainly because I grew up in an era when guys like RJJ, Mike Tyson, and floyd Mayweather ruled the sport, while were always fighting guys they held advantages over, in what essentially were no risk fights. So I was used to that as a norm and just thought the obvious truth of them holding all the advantages was obviously because of how great they were...and that is partly true.

But now having followed boxing for nearly 20 years and having watched a ton of fighters from today and yesterday, (i.e. Carl Froch, Evander Holyfield, Salvador Sanchez, Alexis Arguello, Roberto Duran, SLR etc...) It is the fighters with the most skill, hart, stamina, determination and durability that find that little something extra that allows them to win. It`s like the "Isreal Vasquez factor". We know Prime Manny Pacquiao had that. Can't say the same for Mayweather. If Floyd Mayweather came up against another Floyd Mayweather level guy could he pull it out of the fire if he was in the fight of his life? We don't know how he'd react if he was in a fire fight with an Erik Morales, or got knocked down by MAB in the first round. He's shown glimpses of those traits. But you'd need more certainty then just a couple of glimpses. We just don't know that ****. Lighter weight prime Manny pacquiao is the closest thing to Roberto Duran in terms of mindset and spirit that I've seen since the Panamanian Light Weight. He's not better then Duran but overall when you look at his body of work from being a young flyweight champ all the way to TKOing Cotto in a war, he ranks higher then Mayweather. Floyd Mayweather has his 0 to thank for that.

p.s. all that being said he'll probably get shutout or TKFOed in month lol

You can match prime Floyds style up with anyone in the history of this sport at any weight and he would beat and be competitive with any of the legends and atg's.

You can't do that with Pac. There is the danger that Pac could do damage and that he could be kod.

Floyd ranks higher pfp and ranks higher than Pac in any ranking today or yesterday.

Pac can still make 135/140. Floyd could not even make 144, 6 years ago. Pac has accomplished more at WW, their current weight class.

What formula did you use to rank each fighter?
