How much would that boost his legacy?

Would he start making any ATG Brit fighter lists?

I reckon so but I can’t see the fight happening any time soon, Hurd looks way too big and brook seems desperate for the khan fight

I’d be happy seeing brook vs porter again

He has said he will be campaigning at 147,Khan or no Khan.

The final eliminator was a waste of time.

    Hurd would break Brook's face.

Team Brook know this. That fight will never happen.

To answer your question, nah, it still wouldn't be enough to put him down as a British ATG

I'd be happy seeing Brook vs Spence II, there is unfinished business there. It's pretty clear Spence got away with murder in May 2017. At 154 I suspect a different story.

Anyways, as for Hurd, it would be a great win. But it wouldn't make his legacy look anything special. He needs to write the wrong against Spence. That is what matters most. GGG is GGG and even as a Brook supporter I don't have him beating GGG whatsoever. But it is clear he has the ability to beat Spence, and for me he showed Spence isn't all he's cracked up to be. If it wasn't for the eye, he would only have one loss.

But as for ATG British lists, he needs more than 2 solid wins. He needs 3, 4. Porter is his only major win. Porter, Spence, Hurd, then we're talking.

If brook can beat porter, Garcia, Thurman all at 147 then I think it’s an awesome run to hang them up on

Brook needs to stop farting around at 154

He's dead at the weight at 147. As we've just seen he wasn't exactly spectacular at 150 either. 154 is necessary. Yes, he's losing height on his competitors. But he can outskill them, and he can beat Hurd and the rest. If Brook can edge out Spence over the 7 rounds before his eye went, then he can certainly completely outbox Hurd in style.

Spence got lucky, GGG is GGG. Does Hurd hit harder than Spence? Not really, they are probably even. Does Hurd hit anywhere near as hard as GGG? No chance. Brook can go 12 rounds with Hurd, and school him on points along the way. Not to mention, do you see Hurd or Spence doing what Brook did to Rabchenko. Sure they might knock Rabchenko down like Brook, but that quickly? No way. That performance against a very durable 154 fighter in Rabchenko showed enough that he can mix it with the 154 leaders.

He'd probably have to get another 4 or 5 Jarrett Hurd (or better) level wins to make those lists to be honest.
He's had a good career, no more, no less

If you are talking ATG top 100 then he is probably already there.

4 or 5 unified champions who out weigh him by a freakish amount....tough crowd?

I am pretty sure there are only 4 or 5 unified champs in the entire sport!!!

Not sure two good wins (one possibly being very good) should make you a British ATG. It would really be something though, a pretty big upset at this stage no doubt about that

I'm not talking about titles, I'm talking about fighters. Hurd may be unified, but looked poor last time out and even putting that aside, doesn't quantify more than a good solid win for an ATG.
Its not tough at all, Kell Brook would have a long way to go to be even considered in that way

He won in less than 4 rounds? He didn't even break a sweat in that fight.

He has already between cleanly 2 blokes who arguably beat Canelo.

It would be a sensational win considering how small Brook actually is. I know some think he's a natural middleweight but he will look like a lightweight next to Hurd.

Would be a good win. The 2nd good win of his career. I just can't see Brook beating another world class fighter who he gives height, weight and reach up to.

He's in the last chance saloon for me. Its either Khan next or i'm not sure where he goes. He looked awful last time out could be a few reasons for that but weight has to be a factor past 30 two serious injuries in two fights and not really fitting into a weight category isn't going to help. I don't see him beating any of the big guns at 154 based on his last couple of performances. Yes he did well V Spence but in the end he lost and sustained a serious injury in doing so
