I agree with this. Joes pressure made Hopkins gas. But a few years back Hopkins would have kept fighting the whole fight and won every round like he did the first 5.

 

Good question; thanks for showing us the other side of the coin.

I think Hopkins underperformed more than Calzaghe did, in their fight, but I am not certain the case that can be made for my point of view is as strong as all that. I accept that a lot of gut-feeling informed my position, but I will not accept any kind of accusation of bias against one fighter or the other.

A rematch might help us all decide who is a better fighter at this stage.

both are unlikely, but there is no chance you can believe Hopkins kos Calzaghe at anytime of his career, there is supporting a fighter, then there is pure biased b.s.
