:rofl Business move.... BRUU HAA HAAA !!!

:hey O$CAR/GBP miscalculated so badly that their scheming resulted with Canelo being forced to surrender the WBC belt to GGG. Canelo's actions indicate that he bought O$CAR's pitch and has tarnished his reputation so badly, Canelo may never recover.

:yep And you think everyone but you doesn't see the

    :admin WHOLE PICTURE !

So what's going to happen then?

Max Kellerman will say something like,
"There's this guy who is at ringside who wants to fight you, will you fight Demetrius Andrade?"

    Canelo
"bla bla bla" in Spanish (translated to, "I invited him to the ring.")

    Max Kellerman repeats
"So does that mean will you fight Demetrius Andrade?"

    Canelo
"I will fight him right now, I will put on the gloves right now" (even tho he's already wearing gloves).

Then he finishes his response with the usual "Viva Mexico, in Mexico we don't **** around" to get the crowd going.

    Sounds familiar anyone?

This 'business move' nonsense people are peddling really needs to stop. His team were scared he'd lose. The 'business case' for him ducking GGG is that they didn't think he'd win.

Do I think Canelo is scared of facing GGG? Yes. Not because of any physical pain but because losing would cost him a lot of money. That's where his fear comes from.

Well if reports are right Golovkin will probably earn the same or even more for Jr than he would have done for Canelo.

Canelo could have earned a shed load of money for fighting Golovkin and if he won like he believes he would have and he had the bottle to travel then Canelo could have come to the UK and fought Eubank Jr on a huge PPV event in front of a monster crowd.

But Canelo is fighting Liam Smith on Boxnation :think very smart business move medium to long term

I fully expect him to win this easy belt, promise to fight andrade, but fight Loma in 153.9 catchweight. Win, Vacate. rince and repeat, bounce between make believe Caneloweight and 154.

Bull****. Like most ESBers, you are not thinking this through. Canelo's PPV status does not depend on him being undefeated. He already lost to FLoyd and is still the biggest PPV draw.

A loss to GGG would diminish his status about as much as DLH's PPV status was crushed by losses to Hopkins, Floyd, etc,

Do some of you really think that Golden Boy prefers to make pennies on the dollar by taking on the Smiths of the without a huge goal in mind.

Canelo vs GGG is the biggest fight on the horizon and there's much money to be made but Golden Boy is correct with the "marinate" idea, especially in light of GGG's poor PPV record.

The fight is already bigger now than it was after Canelo beat Cotto and will be even bigger on Sep 2017.

    Right:lol:

Because to you simple headed keyboard warriors it's easier to believe that Canelo dropped the belt simply because he is afraid of Golovkin and had nothing to do with fact that Canelo and Golden Boy stood to lose millions of dollars from the purse split mandated by WBC rules.

But screw that BS right? You and the rest of the keyboard warriors here would have taken the fight as is in an instant.:lol::lol:

I believe oscar is the problem here, not canelo. L From reports Canelo is dumb as a stump. Doesn't make him a bad human but a deep thinker he aint. Oscar does the thinking for him and manages his career. Oscar does not want to see his cash cow beat up or knocked out. The mexican fan base is huge and Oscar is doing everything he can to capitalize on that with canelo. Getting beaten silly by GGG would hurt that carefully crafted marketing strategy.
