Seems like parkers team are taking a liberty hoping to get a cheeky win.

Big gamble from bakole on 2 days notice but I guess you have to take your opportunity's .

Indeed mate. Fair play to Parker too, spent months training for a certain opponent thinking he was getting a title shot and then taking on a risky fight with two days notice.

Not too disappointed now that's a damn good replacement at short notice and still a good fight.

Agreed, it is still a great fight. Lets see if the sparring stories are true!

What must joseph parker be thinking. He’s gone from a guaranteed title shot to a fight vs a titleless dangerman everyone is shite scared of in the space of a few hours

Bet Parker will be getting paid more now than originally!

    What’s the logic behind that?

Because he’s also fighting someone - and a dangerous opponent at that - he hasn’t trained for on a few days notice.

Also, Bakole, whilst getting paid handsomely, won’t be getting the same purse as Dubois (the world champion)… so a few quid will have come back into the pot

parker will be facing someone who hasn’t trained for him snd who was sat on a couch in Congo, not going through some greatest ever camp so we are told.

Yeah and Parker hasn’t trained for Bakole either.

What couch was he sat on in the Congo? The one located in a gym as per the many clips…. Or the one ringside at the Adam Azim fight the other week

Parker has undergone the greatest camp in his life according to himself and there is a reason why boxers do a camp, is there not? Bakole hasn't done a camp so he's at a major disadvantage. If he pumps Parker I don't want to hear the overrating of Parker anymore.

Unfortunate turn of events for Dubois. Hardly suprising someone gets sick.

I don't know about you guys. But I've lost count the amount of times I've been unwell the day after a flight. They're bloody riddled....

And funnily enough, I just saw an ifltv video earlier and you can hear Kugan Cassius isn't the best either. I know if I was a fighter I'd be treating everyone like they had the plague..... There's big money to made after all

Parker must be clearing millions to go ahead with this, and good luck to him

Every boxer says they’ve had a great camp before a fight, hardly ground breaking news
