I would simply like him to stay busy get out March, June/July, September and have big pre-Xmas fight

March - Bizier

Early Summer - Diego Chavez

September - Provodnikov

December - Broner

 

Even someone like Alvarado in America in September would make Brook look devastating

 

He ideally should have had the Khan fight. Like it or not, Khan is a national figure here in the UK and has been for a decade. An all-Brit world title fight with a high profile national figure in one corner... it would have caught the public imagination and sold huge numbers.

However, not to be, and where does that leave Kell? I don't see anything that would remotely engage the casual fan and raise his profile outside of the boxing fraternity.

Provodnikov could well be a cracking fight and well winnable for Brook, but there's nothing there to market to Joe Punter beforehand. He's Russian, for one thing, and they aren't flavour of the month in the UK at present. He also doesn't bring his "0", and that unfortunately means something to the casuals. What could you put on the poster about him?

I'm ******ed if I know what would serve as a profile-raising fight for Brook, though. Good luck pulling that one out.

 

Fun fact, more people over here know who Gavin is than know who Provodnikov is.

 

And also no that gavin had no chance......he aint fighting a big name anytime soon
...so he needs a big entertainer.....possibly Bradley but he wont travel

 

Neither does Provo and to sell it to casuals, Gavin was a former world amature champion who has had 1 defeat and was hyped even before he turned pro, while Provodnikov has had a handful of defeats and can't speak a lick of English

I believe though if the Bradley v Brook fight happens, it's more likely to happen in England because it makes more money as we can get a far bigger gate and fill Bramell Lane, and it would sell on Box Office at 9pm, whereas it won't do anything at 4am. (It'll just be normal HBO either way in the USA) I also suspect Bradley has more bottle than the likes of Garcia or Thurman and don't mind fighting in his opponents back yard.

However Arum will probably want to save Bradley win-or lose to Pacquiao for Crawford

 

what about a fight with liam smith at light middle or in between

I maybe worded this wrong...although i agrée kell would outbox ruslan....ruslan would give kell problems with his comeforward style...and would make the bout a good old war.....kell had problems with pressure against Carson jones..even though it was 4 years ago....i think the fight would be very entertaining and brook would get credit for yhe win.....and i think ruslan was robbed against algeri...just to set the pac fight up so pac had title for mayweather fight
