If Edwin Valero was alive in 2012, what would he have achieved at this stage?

Exactly, and people don't realize he always had good boxing skills. He quit using them in Japan cause his promoter was paying him 100K extra if he kept his first round KO streak going. So it's easy to see why he got away from his boxing for awhile and went wild for the KO's.

Back very early he actually sparred Morales when Erik was preparing for the first Dapidran fight. He showed some serious skill in that video.

 

I never wanted to see Edwin fight JMM cause I really like JMM also. Didn't want to see him finally get stopped.

No way that would have happened, and this is coming from a huge JMM fan. Valero was nuts in and out of the ring. Hitting him only pissed him off. He had a ****ing psychotic gene.

He would finally have met a solid boxer and still win a close decision in a bout in which he did badly and looked awful and 90% of the people here would have ranted against the decision and call it a robbery and then called him a bum. Something like this.

Well, that might have been the war of the century. Knowing how Arum operates, it makes me think he would have waited for Pac to really slow down before he fed him to Valero. I think Valero would have pulled off a late TKO, and he would have been winning more rounds. Valero had better boxing skills than Pac ever dreamed of. In essence, he beats Pac easier than he could beat JMM.

 

I met him about 6 months before he died. I am about 190 pounds and when I shook his hand, I was like damn this guy is strong.

 

He'd have been one of these guys on the "must watch" list.

Think he was destined for great things, unfortunately he succumbed to the dark desires in his life and ultimately failed his family.
