But what if it ha been Ortiz did t to Floyd?? Would you still be calling it a KO win???? Hell No you'd be screaming for Otiz head.
It may be legal but its an act of cowardice
I remember a golden gloves fight in Ft Worth Tx At opening bell guy comes to center of ring hands out to touch gloves the other guy cold****s him same way. But in the next round he had to fight the other guys buddy, ref was same guy too. that kid gave the coward a hell of a beating but not enough to force the ref to stop the fight. Though really he should have, When the losers trainer complained Ref just said The kid deserved a lesson & got one, Would love to see same happen to Mayweather

Depends how the fight rolls out, if Canelo is drained that **** will be obvious.

Dawson was drained- Oscar was drained, was clear as day.

If he aint drained then May is a beast.

IMO it ain't going to happen anyway.

No I wouldn't that would make me a hypocrite considering I don't call Dempsey a coward. In my household Dempsey was very respected. Floyd did what Dempsey did, and had Ortiz done it then he'd be following in Jack's footsteps. Do you not follow the history of boxing?

The being green excuse is'nt going to fly. Canelo has had a few title fights allready and been on the big stage with name fighters like Mosley allready.
The Trout fight was a big step to get him ready for Mayweather.

Being drained is a possibility. Recent picture has him looking bone dry.
Off of that picture it sure does'nt look like Canely has 14 lbs in him to lose.
It will be interesting to see him tip the scales officially.
It will be apparent if he's struggled to make the weight. Things like this are usually not kept secret.

Carlos Palomino commented over a week to go for Margarito's fight with Pacquiao, that Margarito was in big trouble as Margarito was looking like he did'nt have an ounce left to lose.

Hopefully Canelo is'nt greedy and does'nt lose the extra 2 lbs if he's allready struggling to get down to 154 lbs.

Canelo just finished owning a legit, top 154lber. This ain't the same Canelo that got wobbled by Jose Cotto or even the one that dominated Mosley. No one could of beaten Trout the way Canelo beat him unless your an elite. Canelo fought like an elite that night. No one dominates Trout, but Canelo clearly beat him. Canelo's at that level now so if Floyd stops him credit to him, but at the sametime 152 catchweight was unnecessary unless Floyd doubted himself. So once again can't get full cred. He does this to himself, but like he said legacy don't pa bills and he ain't lying.

Most would favor Mayweather if the fight was held at 160 lbs, much more at 154 lbs.
.......but then you make him drop 2 more pounds and you're setting yourself up not to get credited for beating a fighter when he's looking unhealthy at the weighin.

Dude it is a lost cause, some people just don't get it. If the ref had DQ ortiz(which he could have) people would wine about that instead. Ortiz cheated and Floyd punished him for it. PERIOD!!!

    Canelito didn't own Trout.
    Certianly not on the inside:deal

Where was Alvarez' so-called body attack???:think

Trout set the pace and controlled the center of the ring.
His straight lefts to the belly had Canelito gassed out early.

Trout was moving foreward...Orphan Annie was RUNNING and POT SHOTTING..:deal

    i thought ya'll hate that:rofl

They'll say "I must be dreaming" and they would be correct, because Floyd couldn't knock a butterfly off a flower.

The jab to the body may be met with a counter right hand over the top this fight really is dangerous for Floyd @ 36 my hat is off to him even with the catchweight this is going to be a difficult task at his advanced age.

The could say the truth. That Alvarez camp, coaches, promoter should have made him wait. Floyd is too good for him.
