If Frampton and Quigg fought tomorrow who wins and how?

I still think Frampton edges it .. But i have went from being pretty convinced Frampton takes it to now acknowledging its a 50/50 fight .. I still believe that frampton outboxes him and his feet win him the fight. He would need to keep the head and feet moving for all 12 tho. He must dictate the tempo of the fight. Quigg will put fear into frampton in the sense that they know they have the power to drop frampton. If i were to predict right now i say Frampton just takes the decision after winning most of the rounds but does get dropped maybe a couple of times. Frampton wont drop or stop Quigg i feel tho and i dont think Frampton will get stopped either but may get caught in the pocket now and then on the way in or out that he may end up touching down

 

In short this. My opinions havent changed too much since sat night. Does anyone know how long frampton was out stateside before the fight.
Quigg did a good number on kiko and knowing gallagher im sure they probably worked that shot as kiko was stepping in so full credit to them. I do really like quigg but frampton has a better skill level and that is the difference for me. Ok frampton had a few early bad rds but im thinking that if he wasnt out there for a min 5wk i would attribute fighting in el paso a contributing factor. I do really rate shane as a trainer but if i was training him wed of set off 6wk in advance. Considering the market that they could possiy break into you cant leave things like that to chance. But as i asked im not sure how long they were out there prior. Frampton still wins this fight by pts with a poss late stoppage.

 

Its a hard one too predict both have had good and poor performances that make you swing one way then then the other. I think it would be a great fight and i still lean very slightly to frampton.

People going on about Frampton being on the wrong end of a flash knockdown at world level and forgetting Quigg was down and hurt against a guy who had lost to Jason Booth in his previous fight lol.

I thought we were in enlightened times on this forum, and despite what happened on Saturday, people were taking it in context, as just two fights, and sticking to their guns for the moment, but I see this thread is nearly a month old.

Saturday was interesting, but two performances are not for the moment going to change my opinion. I thought Frampton would win on Saturday afternoon, I still do now.

The one thing that has changed for me, was that I did not think the fight needed to be made yet. I felt 18/24 months of build up would give both a optimum purse, but not now. I think both now have shown themselves world class, and a fight by the end of the year would give the victor the chance to step up again, whilst the loser will still have a good career in front of him.

Think frampton will look better and probably be ahead on points but quigg will catch up with him. Too big, too strong and uses the ring well

Well if they fought tomorrow I would go with Quigg all day long as he is fresh after a 2nd round win at the weekend whereas Frampton had a hard 12 rounds going down twice and getting a bit of a beating in the process!! ;-) But in all seriousness I think this is a fight than go either way now.. My head says Frampton on points as I see him as the better/more all round boxer of the two. However I would fancy Quigg to have more chance of stopping Frampton than vice versa- For me Quigg would need a K.O or end up losing by some margin on points!!
