Hi Guys I'm new to the forum and i'm a massive Carl Froch fan. If he does lose to Ward though where does he go next?

    Bute - Will want Ward
Kessler - Will want to fight for a world title (Froch doesn't won't have this anymore)
Pascal - No longer has the WBC Belt (Would Froch fight him with out a world title at stake)

Would it mean stepping up to light heavy and fighting the winner of Hopkins v Dawson or possibly Nathan Cleverley? Or could you see him fighting Groves for british and commonwealth or even De Gale for the Euro if De Gale wins his next fight?

He's quite friendly with Pascal so a rematch might be the best shout, that or a Kessler rematch.

    Ward will fight Bootay.

DeGale & Groves are both too green for Carl at the moment, maybe in 18/24 months or so but not soon imo.

It all depends on what kind of loss it is.

If its competative he would have allot of options. Kessler 2 (will be WBO champ by then), Pascal at Light Heavy, whoever else if a Champion.

When you have a style like Froch which is exciting but beatable your not gonna be short of fights.

:deal Also he is prepared to fight in fighters back yards. A fight with Cleverly could be made if Frank wants to lose one of his two world champions.

    Anyone but Dirrell.

But realistically its should be Pascal - dont care if no belts on the line, it'll be a good fight if the 1st was anything to go by.

The Cobra never looses in the World of the Cobra. The Cobra cannot never truly be beaten, only merely contained until it rises once again.

He'll have tonnes of options. He's well thought of at Showtime so he'll have no shortage of opponents if he wants to fight in the US again. Kelly Pavlik might interest him if he stays at SM.
I think he'll want to fight in Nottingham ASAP so he may go for a lesser known guy first though.
The WBC like him too so I think it wouldn't take long for him to become the mandatory if he moves up to LH.

Why not, he has been in a lot of hard fights, doubt he has many more in him. A domestic showdown with DeGale would sell well and be a decent pay day for him.
