I peg him to beat no other than who is on his resume. Crying he lost, then turning down a rematch is a diva move 4real. I'd favor reducing him to a five minutes of fame-hype fighter. Plenty of boxers have come through hell and underhell to win a title, Fury seems to relish it, like no one has dealt with depression or dope. Must have not heard of Johny Tapia, Aaron Pryor, Mike Tyson. Plenty of fighters have had to come back from something that had odds stacked against them. Ann Wolfe was twice raped, bore children fron the experience. father & brother murdered, mother died of cancer the year she went to jail...came back & llived under a tree for a summer with 2 babies. She went on to win multiple titles & like Armstrong she won 3 at the same time..So Fury's I survived dope & depression routine has been worn out. He's not great. He outstunk Klitchko in a HW fight where no one landed 100 punches. He out landed Wilder about 3-5 punches a round, thats not a schooling. His legacy consists of beating a past it but solid champ and awakening from the dead against a one handed windmill Wilder.
IMO, Fury could beat any of them, but there are some who would have a good chance of beating him too. IMO, many/most of the best H2H heavyweights are active currently and all of the best H2H heavyweights have fought after 1960. He'd beat any heavyweight prior to 1960. After PEDs and better athletes started getting into boxing, there are a lot of heavyweights who are big, strong, and dangerous who might beat Fury. H2H Fury's size, athleticism, and boxing skills would make him no less than a toss up fight against any of them. Of course this is taking fighters exactly as they were when they fought and matching them against Fury as he is now. I have no idea if Jack Dempsey or Joe Louis would be bigger, stronger, and better today or how much bigger, stronger, and better they would be. H2H is taking the fighters as they were/are, not as they might be.
U raised some interesting points Pat. One is the intriguing question ,if guys like Dempsey , Johnson , Louis had being born in ,say , the last 30 years or so , how big they d be , what division s they d actually fight in . I just can't imagine Jack D being anything else apart from a raging bull type heavy myself !!
