If Golota does win a world title...........

In the 90´s Golota was one of the best among those who never won a title - but i doubt he can do it now.

Golota defiinitely has a solid chin. He took some serious flush wacks from 6'6 288 lb McBride. Even though McBride came in a bit flabby, it was obvious he trained and prepared his ass off under McGirt. He looked much better agianst Golota than he did Tyson and he ended up beating Tyson. Golota gets hit way too much, as he quick defensive head movement is almost completely gone. His good chin seems to be the only defense he has. He still has the tools to beat anyone except Wlad and Peter and I'd even give him small chance against Peter.

He usually puts on an exciting show. Even Golota-McBride was much more entertaining than snoozer (bar the KDs) Peter-McRoids.

 

golata aint **** he beat mc bride who's only claim to fame is beating a washed up decrepid tyson. golat is whack and when he steps it up he'll be blown out again like what happened in the brewster fight.

You guys have mentioned a lot of great qualities of Golota but i think you have forgotten some of his best. His stamina is outstanding for a heavyweight. His punchrate is also very high for a heavy weight, those 2 things combine for an exciting fighter. Tyhose combined with his ability to fight inside, ive always loved how he pushes you off with the shoulder and throws a quick flurry. Also he mixes up his punches well, he attacks the head and body really well.

In all honesty he probably won't but he still is in good shape and still shows some skills and if Evander Holyfield can get a title shot I think that Golota might get one. I think Golota is probably at least as good as Holy is at this point of their careers and outside of Wlad he would have a Buster Douglas chance (42:1) of winning a title fight. In fact I might mark him a 42:1 underdog against Wlad

 

I can't believe this headcase still has fans at all.

 

I'm not sure the comparison is accurate at all. First, Golota and Douglas are nothing alike. Golota has had all the tools and been expected to win big fights but blew it. Second, white Buster Douglas, another tired racial comparison. Why not just the next BUster Douglas. Third, Golota beating any of the champs wouldn't be as big an upset as Douglas beating Tyson.
