If Hagler's Nickname was't Marvelous what would it be ?

Every bald man round my way inevitably ends up being nicknamed 'baldy.'

Admittedly, not many of them are dominant middleweight champions.

Correct. He changed his name formally to Marvelous Marvin Hagler. It is his legal name :good

 

Magnificent. Not too far from Marvelous, which is his actual name. I think he actually changed it so it would be on television. One of the networks would not put Marvelous by his name, so he changed Marvin Nathaniel Hagler to Marvelous Marvin Hagler.

 

"Murderous" is a great one. Sounds similar to Marvellous, has that same alliterative ring to is, and describes his style to a tee.

 

Magnificent Marvin Hagler sounds more like a magician than a pugilist.
