You didnt answer my question. In what fights before the Hatton fight did you see that he was moving past it? In what ways was he beggining to slip? Because to me you sound like a guy who refuses to give Hatton any credit.

Dont give me that bull**** about 35 years old, its a ****ing copout and you know it. If you cant answer my question, just say so. :deal

B/c all the Hatton fans say he needs to fight Hatton to add to his legacy, and Hatton talked ****. A win over Hatton is a big fight, a big win, and it sets up a large fight with Cotto/Mosely winner. The winner of Cotto/Mosely is Cotto and Pacquiao loses...Cotto-Mayweather is HUGE HUGE fight, and tough tough fight. Mosely wins, Mosely has earned a big fight win so the promotion can say "Shane is back in top form, beat the best young welter, and can beat Floyd".

    Period.

Mayweather ruins Hatton, but afterwards Mayweather in another superfight. Exposes him. Everything Hatton does, Cotto does better. It sets up a great fight. Plain and simple.

Kostya showed no signs of wearing down because all he fought was Sharmba Mitchell...whom Floyd and P-Williams disposed of way better. Kostya's injuries, surguries, and year+ vacation aged Kostya early.

What happened to Hatton at 147? The record says he won against Collazo, after flash knockdown early he just slipped and slipped. Castillo was shot in Ngoudjo fight. So whose Hatton beat? Hatton loses to Cotto, Mayweather, Mosely, Williams, Margarito...at 147. NO disrespect though...i like Hatton and he is "good", not "great", and Mayweather may be not "great" but he's 15 steps closer than Hatton. Those eyes are gonna bleed from the lead left hooks, and then potshot city against a blind opponent. Match the styles. Baldomir presented more risk at 147 than Hatton. And it's silly how similiar they look sometimes.

KT blew him out in 3 rounds
    Floyd did it in 6
    William in 4

How did they do it better? :huh

At least Mitchell was on a streak and in his better weight class when KT did it as well.

That's as far as my quoting needs to go.

Anybody feel like crushing this slow-pitch softball that bigtime tossed?

Sorry, bigtime, you just lost your credibility.

Right. Thanks for making my point for me:

There's a reason why PBF wants to fight him AT 147, JUST LIKE I SAID.

Seriously, peeps, you have to think about your argument - and mine - before you just post stuff like this which is so easy to counter.

It's not to hard to ocunter the argument some of the guys make. They confuse opinion for fact, and often contradict themselves. Bunch of hypocrites...

I see Floyd taking it to Hatton, but I still want to see it happen. Hatton is a pressure fighter, and I think that will produce some brilliant moments as Floyd moves and counters.

Because Hatton needs to be exposed for the overrated bum that he is. I call him Baby Ruiz.

Hatton is a P4P fighter. Undefeated. The Ring Champion at 140. Why woudnt Mayweather want to fight him? He would be stupid not too.

Who says boxing is dead fellas? Mayweather-Hatton adds another major fight to an already loaded fall that also will include the Jermain Taylor-Kelly Pavlik middleweight championship showdown (Sept. 29), the Manny Pacquiao-Marco Antonio Barrera rematch (Oct. 6), the probable Juan Diaz-Julio Diaz lightweight unification bout (Oct. 13), the heavily anticipated Joe Calzaghe-Mikkel Kessler super middleweight unification bout (Nov. 3), the probable Miguel Cotto-Shane Mosley welterweight title bout (Nov. 10) and the Joan Guzman-Humberto Soto junior lightweight title match (Nov. 17).

This is not going to be an easy fight for Floyd at all. He is going to win, but like I have been saying for a while, he is going to get bashed and probably bruised and cut. but i still see a wide ud for mayweather.

Ok, first off. Hatton disrespected floyd to a degree he has to fight him in the post fight. I mean he threw a direct str8 up personal insult on national TV to a fighter that has an ego. Second, just to shut up every UK poster on esb that been saying for the last 2-3 years that Floyd would never step in the ring with Hatton. Hatton would knock floyd out. blah, blah, blah, blah. Third, it is a good name to have on his resume and gets him the proper recognition at 140.
