    He's confirmed that he retires on 13th Oct 2011, even if he did unify the division by beating either/both K-bro's, then what? The titles become vacant, then the brothers just go and win the belts back again.

    Whats the point?

    i see what you mean. unifying the belts to give them up straight away seems a little pointless. the division just goes back to what it was.

    All this talk of David Haye waiting for Vitali Kiltschko to get old........

    I think Vitali Kiltschko is a great natural athlete, along with his brother.

    These guys are athlete's first and boxers second.

    David Haye would not be favourite vs any of these guys.

    No he wouldn't, but then again if you're picking them, I might have to change my opinion and go for a Haye victory. Run me through what Harrison was going to do again.:lol:

    Exactly. Hardly gonna be the saviour of HW boxing that he proclaimed himself to be. I severely doubt he will fight both vitali & vlad before oct next year also.

    Just see it as a pointless excercise which wont get him near being an all time great even if he does beat one / both.

    He does seem very very set on this retirement unlike most boxers who you can tell are bluffing.

    However, if he beats both of them he'd get some more mega mega paydays for doing **** all (pretty much like he has just done to be fair but bigger), its not easy to walk away from.

    a. he is not good enough or consistent enough and makes too many mistakes to beat either Klitschko;
    b. a rematch clause would be in the contract;
    c. he could retire immediately afterwards, but the money for a rematch and/or other fights would be far too much to turn down.

    Audley Harrison let me down, and himself down big-time. I have fully exsplained all of my actions and thoughts leading up to November 13th, and i'm better and stronger than ever on this boards.

    everyone will say, oh the klits were shite anyway, and haye got lucky and the klits were were past their prime and all that other garbage...

    see what happens when haye has all the belts draped over him, and the doctors torch is shining into the klits eyes.

    :deal Im sure he'd make alot more for his routine defences against the 'fat overweight americans' as he puts it, rather than **** 30 sec cameo's in Hollywood movies.

    If he fights Vitaly in the Spring that's Haye's retirement date set there and then, and good riddance to him! :yep
