    That is a rumor.

Ibeabuchi was also already known to have some mental issues prior to the Tua fight.

I think it's unlikely he'll get parole. If he does, he's out of shape. If he's right physically, he's still going to be mentally disturbed. For that reason, I cant imagine most governing bodies would sanction a fight of his. Maybe in Nigeria or some obscure country but not in America or Europe.

I'd love to see prime Ibeabuchi back but there's little chance he'll fight again and if he does, it'll be a far cry from "prime Ibeabuchi".

Over 10 years inactive, he's going getting anywhere in boxing. Though by today's standards, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a title shot after two tune-ups.

On the plus side, that means he has saved 10 years worth of wear and tear on his body. He would be physically the same as a nigerian 29 year old.

I totally agree. Throw away the key.

But if he gets out, it is what it is.

I just gotta jump in here....

1... What did Ike do??? A hooker accused him of attempted ****?? Was she in any way injured?? No

2... Police that were called claimed Ike resisted arrest & they had to use tear gas to restrain him. Were either of the police officers in anyway
    injured ?? No

Ike was a top ranked heavyweight fighter. If he attempted to **** that hooker & then supposedly fought the police & was crazy as you claim how was it that none of them had a mark on them ????

The answer is Ike Ibeabuchi was railroaded because of what happened with Tyson & Desiree Washington. Incidently another travesty of justice.

You claim Ike is insane now huh?? Wouldnt you be insane if you were kept incarcerated for 14 months under heavy sedation without any charges filed??? They claim they were scared of what he MIGHT DO??
All that time Ike proclaimed his innocence while they were pressuring him to plead guilty promising him he'd be out & boxing again in 6 months They didnt have evidence enough to convict him.
He eventually capitulated and plead No Contest giving in to pressure.
What happened was the female judge instead gave him the maximum sentence 5- 30 yrs.
No doubt Ike's sanity is suspect now BUT who's fault is it if it is???

What happened to Ike Ibeabuchi was a travesty. If he hadn't called that greedy hooker that night, yoiu wouldnt have heard much of the Klitschko's Ike in top shape would have had both Klitschko's for lunch.
He would have been the natural successor to Lennox Lewis.

Before you castigate me let me just say I knew Ike from the day he walked into Curtis Cokes gym fresh in the US from Nigeria. I watched Curtis transform Ike from a crude brawler to the almost perfect HW.
Ike would now be a multi millionaire today
