Obviously it is in their realm, see Floyd Mayweather vs. Sugar Shane Mosley. This shows definitively that it is within their capability, they can do so, so what's the problem? Obviously fighters can do this...so that logic is void, they clearly can and have.

Mayweather is one of the fighters in question though, you think he holds the same pull with a guy who is perceived to be comparable to him in terms of status? Also, Mosley HAS been found guilty of that kind of thing, so its understandable.

That "floors" me everytime. Mosley agreed so why doesn't Pac??

Mosley's a freaking admitted doper! Ya he's got no choice, and btw when he was supposed to fight Judah... he said FU to the blood test. It seems this time, some strings were pulled cuz Schaefer conveniently forgot about Judah.

Go fight the good fight, war on drugs... er I mean Pacquiao.

Bull****. Tyson wanted test (as in singular) before, but more as a mind game. Evander agreed but only after the fight, so as to not let Tyson have the upper hand.

Truth be told Tyson was scared of Evander, but they compromised, both guys did and got what they wanted.

    Without hesitation... fairy tales. :rofl

Im all for more testing and fair enough floyd is sticking to his guns about it, but that doesnt excuse going on another timeout and not even sitting down to try to negeotiate the fight, if floyd doesnt have the urge to make possibly the biggest ppv/money fight of all time or at least recent history then the only thing to do is retire imo

And cheating too, a fight this big if you are smart you will play every angle and make sure your opponent is not cheating not only could cost you a lots of money but your life too, I don't blame Fraud for asking I blame Pac for refusing to the random test, if you have nothing to hide why came out with those lame excuses, "afraid of nedles" it will make me "weak", BS.

You play every single angle? so that would be defaming someone so you can put put a road blocks infront of a potential fight ?

Fighters everywhere, with less talent than Floyd, making less money, taking the same risks, are apparently willing to to do what he isn't, and NOT demand OST, so what does that say about Mayweather?

Which ever way you flip flop this argument, there has to be one thing were all agreed on, that Mayweather takes Manny extremely seriously in terms of how much of a threat he is?

If you accept the notion Mayweather takes Manny so seriously, maybe it speaks about WHY he's asking for OST?

Maybe Floyd just thinks the guy is freaking cheating and wants to make sure that he is clean going into the fight. My question to you is would you turn down 40 million over a damn drug test? You can't honestly sit here and say you would walk away from 40 million over OSDT.

The majority of boxers believe the testing is satisfactory, and is 'good enough'...but it clearly isn't...and it won't be until they introduce annual testing. This allows the commission's to catch the cheats out, or make them think twice about cheating. The threat of being tested alone is is an all-round greater method than what is in place now. Every boxer doesn't have to be tested under it, but the threat of being randomly tested will have a great effect on the sport.

Keep the usual method in, just add annual testing on top of that.

Mayweather is/was doing the sport good by calling for stricter testing, it may not have been the right testing, or the right way to go about it...but hopefully it will only improve the current methods. His motives behind the extra testing is questionable, but it's still a positive for the sport.
