If Kell Brook can't make 147lbs a fight with Cotto looms at 154lbs. Who wins ?

You're probably right. Brook doesn't offer anything interesting for Cotto.

Stupid post Isal. Brook offers Cotto a top level fight FFS. Not some sh*t PPV fight against a washed up chinny never-was.

You're right. He should've had only 1 fight within last 3 years in which he got KTFOd to be interesting for Cotto.

At this stage of Cotto's life and career, I doubt he's going to be gunning for the younger, fresher JrMWs, especially a foreigner like Brook who is pretty much unknown to the casuals in the U.S. and isn't very marketable here.

He has better options against lower risk opponents like Kirkland who has been part of PPV events in the past and who offers a style more suited for excitement.

    Very simple concept to understand.

No sh*t Isal, but you asked what he has to offer, which I simply answered. So acting like Brook offers nothing is silly.

Not the point dude. brook is younger and fresher than Kirkland. Cotto is at the tail end of his career. Cotto doesn't have to prove anything to anyone anymore. He is now cashing in, and rightly so.

A fight with Kirkland is much more exciting and much marketable to the casual than a fight with Brook. Very simple to understand.

    I didn't ask anything.

I stated, that for Cotto, an aging fighter at the tail end of his career who started at WW and fought all the way through MW, who has been champion in 4 weight classes, including the MW division, achieving the highest accolade there by becoming lineal, likely doesn't see the Brook fight interesting when you consider Brook isn't even a top fighter in the JrMW division, holds no belts there, and isn't a ticket, or PPV seller in the U.S. where he is virtually unknown by the Casuals.

He needs to beat a top Welterweight to redeem himself for taking those knees.

Oh, my bad. You outright stated Brook has nothing to offer.
LOL you think posting Cotto's history means anything here? You idiots are so easily distracted....and 99% of the time you do it to yourself.

So, guess what, NOTHING you posted suggests Brook has NOTHING to offer, which was your contention. Learn how to f*ckin read and comprehend properly FFS....

A Brook fight definitely does more money than Kirkland, Brook is very popular in the UK for some reason.

But I get what you mean, Cotto has already proved himself and now he is basically done and just in it for the money.

Not sure what you're rambling about. I simply agrees with Kirk that Cotto will not likely be fighting Brook, I believe that because when you consider where Cotto is at this stage of his career and where Brook is, it doesn't make sense for Cotto to take that fight. I don't see what brook offers Cotto to entice him to get in the ring with him, hence the reason I used the term Interesting.

He isn't popular in the U.S. and Cotto I assure you will not be travelling to England to fight Brook.

Brook doesnt fear Spence IMO, but im pretty sure he is being told to pass on that fight because its just too much of a risk.

Kell Brook vs Errol Spence will never happen.

Boxing is about timing . I thought Martinez would beat Cotto but his knees were shot and he was a
shell of his former self. Cotto then turned that into a mega buck paycheck from Canelo and if he beats
Laing into another mega paycheck. Billy Saunders is the same after beating Lee for the title he has
the prize everybody wants at mw the only available title. Canelo , Golovkin promoters know by
beating BS that they can raise there demands if they ever fight. BS is a limited fighter and could
well have lost last year if not injured. Now if Jacobs could get 3 m and Brook 5m then BS should
be in line for at least 2 to 3 m . If De Gale and Jack didn't even receive a million then BS is
    being well overpaid.
