I believe Kessler has faded a bit and suffered from bad preparation for the Ward fight, i find Mikkel a much nicer character than Froch which is probably why i want him to win.

If the Kessler from the Andrade fight turns up then he wins by comfortable yet exciting UD

If the Kessler from the Ward fight turns up then Froch should be able to punish Kessler to a late stoppage.

My prediction for the fight is Kessler to show up wanting to prove a point and comes out like a man that wont be denied on his way to a close UD

A win over Froch has to be rated highly as hes beaten some good names, a win over Kessler coming off a loss im not so sure and i wont pass comment until i see how he looks in defeat.

:huh So Calzaghes record is better than Jimmy Wildes? or Roman Greenbergs is better than Ali?

    Course not.

But to suggest a loss against Kessler means nothing implys the reverse is also true and a win would mean nothing.

    It's nonsensical.

I didn't say that it meant nothing, you have missed out the "almost". A loss against Kessler would have a significantly lesser impact on Frochs legacy than if he had lost against Mathew Barnie or Brian Magee. The mythical "0" is massively overrated, especially if you do not pit your skills against the very, very best around as Froch is doing and instead feed on skimmers and B or C class opposition.

Will Froch be "exposed" if he loses to Kessler?

    ;O)

I'm still not settled on a pick for this fight..... a year ago I'd have said Kessler KO in a heartbeat.

Yeah all roads to lead to Slappy unfortunately :-(

It would definately enhance Kesslers legacy, which I dont think is bad anyway. If he beats Froch he will be a 2 time WBC & a 2 time WBA champ which is good going, not to mention Kesslers great attitude in that hes defended away to Mundine, away to Haussler, met Calzaghe away in a unification bout, and put his title on the line away to Ward, along with other names on his resume in undefeated Andrade, Lucas, 3 time WBC champ Beyer, Siaca and WBA regular champ Sartison (regular champ, what rubbish that is, but.....).
All in all Kesslers had a good career and nothing to be ashamed of

Kessler seemed a bit fragile against Ward, inactivity got to him or age..

Kessler and Froch are in a league of their own in terms of balls. The only ones to repeatedly have taken their biggest fights abroad - despite the statistics showing that going abroad equals defeat in 99% of cases.

    I'm worried for Calzaghe.

He will be having sleepless nights thinking about this fight and I genuinely think there will be a missing persons search if Froch stopped Kessler.
