    No disrespect but those are merely records, what does that have to do with the level of competition. I find both men to have similar records in terms of quality with the slight edge going to Kessler due to his ring appearence with Joe C. Mind you its give and take because of Pavliks dominance over fighters such as Jermaine Taylor and Miranda. Not saying Kessler wouldnt do the same........

    I think the edge in competition clearly goes to Kessler since he has defeated guys like Siaca, Lucas, Mundine, Beyer and Andrade. I don't think that Miranda is even worth mentioning and that leaves Pavlik with one notable win over Taylor. That is a really good win, but still only one win.

    You can put those fighters on the level of Zuniga and Zertuche.....fact is there's not a whole lot of difference between the two fighters and their quality of opposition, the only thing that stands out is Joe C on Kessler's resume but the same can be said for Kelly with two wins over a previously unbeaten middle weight champ.
