IF Khan stops Malignagi would he have proved the critics wrong?

What if paulie knocks Khan the f*ck out? Improbable, but not impossible.

Won't prove anything? Bloody hell. I bet if Jessica Alba flashed her tits you wouldn't be impressed either.

Malignaggi has the comfort of the home town backing him. Backing him in a fight where his opponent is fighting in the US for the very first time. Malignaggi's only legit losses came against an awsome Miguel Cotto, and the then 140 king Ricky Hatton. He has never been stopped convincingly, and has proven to withstand serious punishment.

Now beating and stopping a guy like this for your very fight on foreign soil, a fight which unlike before, you have none of the crowd on your side....certainly proves something. It proves he has the potential to be massive success in the US

It won't prove anything about his chin, I mean. That's what most critics are talking about when they mention Khan.

And what do you mean nothing impresses me? Didn't you read where I said "it will be impressive and a great win"? I think this is the perfect fight for Khan right now.

Would definitely prove something, but I don't think Khan can not knock Malignaggi out. However cant rule it out for certain, Khan is developing under the Roach regime, with some added power to go with his speed, something special could happen.

his critics say he has a weak chin - so this fight will prove nothing to them.

Just what the f**k is there to prove about his chin? It's hopeless! Always has been, and always will be! We don't need Maidana (or anyother puncher) to confirm this for us! If the dude gets hit hard, he's toppling over, simple as that!

Like I mentioned earlier, the most sensible question these critics should be asking is "Has Khan's defence improved to the extent he can withstand world class offensive fighters"

no he will not...after that brutal ko he got by prescott he needs more than a belt and a w over paulie..he needs to fight some top competition...

Amir is gonna be held to higher standards by the fans as long as they are blowing him up like this..

    Bredis prescott btw

Hell no! Paulie's been stopped before!

Khan proves something when he starts taking on big punchers, gets hit hard and recovers or comes back from a knock down.

This fight proves **** all, it's an introduction to the States and that's it!

No. If he beat Maidana? Yes, he would have beaten a powerpuncher and have a very impressive win on his record. Then the critics will have been proven wrong (to some extent).

Stopping Malignaggi would be a step in the right direction, but not enough to prove the critics wrong.

bull **** dude, paulie has not really been stopped, ok the corner threw in the towel against hatton but we all know paulie wasnt hurt enough and couldave and shouldve easily carried on. To be a great or a very very good boxer u dont have to always have the hardest punch, u have to have skill, speed agility etc. All of which paulie has, fine he cant crack an egg but he has skills to test khan that nobody else has before. Paulie had his face broken by cotto and carried on so if khan does legitimately stop him EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE NOTE!!!

Here's a question, what would be more impressive, knocking out Paulie, or outboxing maidana, running a bit, not getting hit and winning a wide UD?

I think clearly KO paulie's more impressive

spot on, we all khan can box, he boxed the ears off kotelnik and would do exactly the same against maidana, outboxing a slick boxer like paulie or knocking him out/stopping him would be far more impressive
