Khan by stoppage. I reckon it will take him 5, 6 or 7 rounds, but when the end comes he'll blow Paulie away in an emphatic fashion and either the ref or the corner will stop it.
Cotto might dish out more punishment in the sense of an accumulation of big shots, but for me Khan is far more likely than Cotto to find the punch that Paulie doesnt see coming. Now that shot might not knock him out for the 10 count, but it will do enough damage to disorientate him enough that he just takes more and more big shots, too many for the fight to continue. One thing Khan does well is finish guys off when they are in trouble.
If he got the stoppage it will be his best win to date.I cant see it though.I think Khan will win it on points but there wont be a stoppage.
Khan wont stop Paulie....no chance. I seriously dont see or agree with how people are breaking down this fight. Are people looking at the last stoppage and somehow thinking Khan is some sort of power house???? He aint,he may get a bit more ballsy because he's fighting a man with hands so soft you'd question if he had knuckles,but essentially Khan will be a back foot fighter whenever he fights someone who presents any sort of danger. I dont have a problem with that,he's got a flaw and he's trying to protect himself from that. What i have a problem with is fans believing he's some sort of asian Tyson.
Some good posts here guys. I think we should see an improvement in Khan overall, taking into account Khan fought Kotelnik in July 09, then Salita in Dec 09 for 72 sec's so by the time he gets in with Paulie May 10, Khan in the space of 10 months has only had 72 sec's of mad action. 2 camps with Roach would have been completed and 10 months space for his body to rest and power up. We should see an improved Khan May 15th, and feel Khan's output and speed will be too much for Paulie and he will stop him around 8th 9th rd. Lets see.
I think Khan's sparring with Manny seriously reduces Paulie's chances of any succes purely from his speed. A lot of Paulie's succes comes from the element of surprise imo but Khan will be ready for it due to his sparring. If he is to have any success I see it coming from making Khan miss and coutering but I expect and hope that Khan will rediscover his accuracy in this fight. The lack of variety that Khan has shown recently will determine whether this is a stoppage or points win for me. Unless he increases his attacking options I think Paulie will work it out and although he will be unable to do much about it it will be enough to see Khan through to a points win. If Khan comes to the fight with a few different options I can see his speed and power forcing a TKO. Malignaggi will have succes at times but power will give Khan back the edge. Despite the method of victory, if it comes, I'll give Khan credit. He doesn't have to prove he can take a big punch to be a good boxer.

A win for Amir whatever way it comes will be a good win. I think Paulie is a dangerous fight for Khan, as has been said already he has been the distance with bigger punchers, and not by avoiding shots all day, but by taking them when he had to. He is also i think the fastest fighter Khan has faced. So he may land more than Khan is used to, so how will Amirs discipline hold up when he starts getting hit again ? People might say he is not a puncher, but he hits harder than Limond and he had Khan hurt badly. I am looking for Paulie to win this.
